Just little over an year ago I bought an 18 k patriot from etrailer I could be happy with the purchase it was just what they said it would be the quality of this hitch is out standing made by American workers who stand behind there products!
Very nice hitch and iam glad i talked to yall before purchasing it. I had purchased a lower end hitch that came in damaged no fault to yall and iam very glad i upgraded. Super quite and very easy hook up!

After much research, I chose B&W based upon the excellent reviews and the fact it's Made in USA.
I would have given it 5 stars, but can't. I can't because the hardware included was Grade 5. I just can't fathom WHY B&W would include Grade 5 hardware with a hitch rated for 18k and not Grade 8? Cheap? Ignorance? Especially when it's held in with only ONE 3/4" bolt and ONE 1/2" U-bolt on each side, even though the holes in the B&W plates line up with 2 other holes in the frame.
The install was smooth, directions were a little 'meh', but this isn't the first hitch I've installed, and there are TONS of videos out there.
Rail kit fit perfect however there is no bracket included to remount a bracket inside the drivers side frame rail that must be moved. The almost identical kit from Reese does include this bracket. It was an easy bracket to fabricate though. The fit and finish of the pieces was excellent and the finished install looks factory.
Installed on my 2005 F250 CC SB 4X4 FX4. Exactly as shown, instructions were good, product fit and functions well. Couldn’t ask for any better.
Took me a little longer to install than some have reviewed, however I suspect that 20 years ago, and 40 lbs lighter my install time would have been better as well!!
Great product, No problems instilling it or using it. The weight is a bit to much overall. But works great.
