I’m extremely impressed with the sales people and the entire etrailer company. From the moment they answered my phone call to the delivery of my orders they have been nothing but professional. It’s so nice to have customer service given the lack of customer service nowadays. I would recommend them and plan on ordering all my RV and truck needs in the future. Thank you for your amazing customer service!!!

  • Compatibility of Advent Air Distribution Box with Carrier AC Unit
The Air Distribution Box w/ Built-In Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACDB will work with the Carrier AC unit. It however will need you to customize your wiring. There is wiring kit # ACCARKIT which is for the opposite...using the advent AC unit with the Carrier distribution box, but there isn't a wiring kit for the opposite that you are seeking.

  • Can Advent AC Unit Use Wiring and Thermostat of Carrier System
Advent makes an adapter that allows you to easily plug in their AC units like the # ACM150 to Carrier wiring and thermostats like what you have with the part # ACCARKIT. • Replacement AC Unit for Duo Therm of RV
I would recommend going with the Advent Air for Dometic Setups part # ACDOM150 which is a 15k BTU AC unit that since it was designed to replace Dometic setups like your Duo Therm it would install easily and work great while using same connections and controls that the RV already has.

  • Will Advent Air RV Air Conditioner Work With Wall Mounted Thermostat
As long as what you currently have is an Advent Air or Dometic setup the # ACM135 will work with your wall thermostat. If you have a Coleman or Carrier an adapter will be required to use your existing thermostat. For Coleman you will need # ACCOLKIT and for Carrier you will need # ACCARKIT.

  • Can A 13.5K Advent A/C Be Swapped In-Place With A 15K System?
As long as you are replacing an Advent air conditioner in your trailer, upgrading to the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 will not require you to have any extra parts. Just simply take off the old unit, and install the new one in its place. If you have a different system like a Coleman, then you'll also need the wiring adapter # ACCOLKIT, or if you have a Carrier setup you'll need the # ACCARKIT adapter.

  • Can the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 be Used to Replace a Carrier 13,500 Watt AC Unit
You can definitely replace your current Carrier system with the Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 as long as you use the Adapter # ACCARKIT. This unit has a running amp draw of about 15 amps but the startup amp draw is about 45 amps. You will need a different fuse and breaker but you need to make sure that it is safe to do so. I recommend having a professional electrician look at your setup so that nothing burns down. If you install the Start Capacitor # ACMSCKIT as well...

  • Is Advent Air RV AC a Good Replacement for Older Motorhome with Mounted Thermostat and Ducts
The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 15,000 Btu - White # ACM150 is a great choice for a replacement AC unit and it can be paired up with a Coleman Mach or Carrier setup using an adapter, part # ACCOLKIT or part # ACCARKIT respectively. This just plugs right in to your current setup and no changes need to be made. If you have a system that's different than this please let me know what you have and I'll see if we have something that's a plug and play style.

  • Advent RV AC Units that Can be Installed in Place of Carrier Units Easily
We have Advent RV AC units that were designed to fit as replacements for Carrier units like what you have. • What Voltage Is Required To Run An RV Air Conditioner And Do They Differ Between Brand
RV AC units typically run off of 115v, which is essentially the same thing as 120v, so the only other determining factor you really need to look for is if the rooftop unit is compatible with your current system, unless of course you plan on replacing the entire system. The Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 that you referenced requires you to have a thermostat and inside roof vent to function properly. For a more complete setup that comes with the needed thermostat, remote, and inner vent system you'd instead want the Atwood AC unit # AT15033-22 which also is rated at 15,000 BTU.
