Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the FixnZip Zipper Repair from AceCamp. This helps you to repair or still use a pair of pants, a skirt, or a pillow, or some other smaller item that has that small style zipper, and maybe something happened to it, it got damaged, lost, broken, whatever the case might be. This helps you to either replace that pull on your zipper, or just get it to a spot where you can merge the two together again. So let's take a closer look at it and see how it's going to work, and make sure that this is the right fit for your application. Again, it works for that smaller style zipper. It is going to work with tooth and coil zippers. So for an example, I've got a jacket here.
Now, this would be a little too small for this particular jacket. You would need more of the medium style, but just to give you an example of what coil and tooth zippers look like, it should be something like this. There's metal chain style or plastic zippers that look a bit different than this, and this guy would not work for that. So just to give you an example of what I mean when I say coil and tooth. If you're not sure what size you need, there should be a number on your zipper pull or on the little block that you merge the two ends into. If it's between one and four, this is going to fit.
If you're not sure or you can't find that number, there is a little ruler on the packaging that comes with this to allow you to measure. And if it's between 1/8" or a 1/4", this again, should work out pretty well. We do have sets that come with two other sizes besides this, so a medium and a large. So if you're not sure or you just want to have an extra option for your other items, that would be a great way to go.You can find those here at etrailer.com, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the AceCamp FixnZip Zipper Repair. It's pretty easy to use these guys.
You just loosen it up, put it over both sides of that zipper, tighten it up, and then you're good to go. So there's no sewing required, no tools or anything like that. I hope this has been helpful. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you out there.
