Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this carrier adapter wiring kit for the Advent Air RV air conditioners. If you are wanting to replace your carrier AC unit with an Advent Air air conditioner, you are going to need this adapter wiring kit. This adapter kit lets you replace your existing carrier AC unit with an Advent Air AC unit, allowing the Advent Air AC to work with your existing carrier ceiling vent and thermostat. Now, on your screen, I am including the model numbers of the Advent Air RV air conditioners that this adapter kit will work with. So you see those item numbers or model numbers there on your screen for you. This is going to include the installation hardware that you are going to need.

Replace your Carrier AC unit with an Advent Air air conditioner (sold separately) using this adapter wiring kit. Adapter allows an Advent Air AC to work with your existing Carrier setup. Hardware is included.Packages arrived as scheduled. One box had some damage the black shroud cover was scratched, but once it is installed no one will notice it. I’m still working on the openings adding extra support and installation. From review of the insulation will be easy. I plan on using my extension ladder as a ramp to pull up the new units onto the roof of my motorhome. Then I’ll put the old units back in the box to get them down. I am sure everything will work out just fine.
This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. Joann was a great help in finding what I needed and getting it shipped out quickly. Instructions were very easy to read and I had my new RV AC up and going in about 30 minutes. Thank you for a great experience!!
Ac arrived today with one miner ding in the box but as I opened it up there was no damage, the unit looks great and I will be installing it this weekend, the wiring adapter seems as it will make installation a breeze although I feel it was overpriced for what you get, but it will make it plug and play so the simplicity is what your paying for not the quantity of wires.
Fast delivery and the adapter kit worked perfect for replacing an old Carrier Air V unit with the new Advent RV air conditioner in my motorhome. It only took a couple of minutes to connect the new air conditioner up with this kit.
Components fit correctly with good instructions. Installing was a "cool" breeze.

Replaced a Carrier AC with this Advent. Was not famliar familiar with Advent but based on ratings decided to try it.With the adapter kit,it was a seamless replacement. Just as quiet,or quieter.Moves as much air. Only been installed a few days, so obviously don't know about longetivity. Your staff was great to deal with regarding shipping etc. during covid-19.
