Video Transcript for Checking Out the B and W Rubber Cover for Stowed Turnoverball

Hey everybody, Ryan here at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be checking out the line of B&W underbed turnover ball gooseneck trailer hitch covers. So, these B&W trailer hitches, as many of you know, are really nice. And if it we're me, I'd like to keep it that way. And one little extra step you can take is just to try to help keep the weather off of it, you know And you can achieve that by just using one of these covers. Now, there's gonna be two of them available.

And the only difference is the back here where it plugs in. So, this one here with these four prongs, that's gonna be used for those of you that store your ball in the hitch. And this one here is gonna be used whenever you decide not to keep the ball in the hitch. So whether you keep it inside the truck or something like that, this is the one you would use in. So with that said, let's go ahead and kinda just jump right in and check these out.

So, we'll look at this one first, the one that's designed to be used when the ball is in that stored position. So, we're done towing, flip that ball over, and the way this has gotta work, these prongs are gonna kinda catch inside of the turnover ball itself. So, I mean, super straight forward here. This is gonna push right into place. I will say it does have a good feel to it when you push down on it, it feels like it bites pretty good.

Whether or not it's going to stay like that over time and the weather and everything else, it's kinda hard to say, but just from how it goes in, I feel like it does a pretty good job of staying put and it'll definitely do a good job of keeping that weather and that moisture and everything else out of the turnover ball socket here. Something that some of our customers do kinda worry about is theft and definitely understandable. You definitely don't wanna have to replace a ball if you don't have to over someone running off with it. I feel like the cover would kinda help with that a little bit. You know, you don't have a shiny ball back here kinda drawing attention, kinda just helps blend in a little bit, make it a little bit cleaner back here in the bed as well.

But if you're someone that wants to avoid that situation completely and decide to choose to store your ball somewhere else, whether it be at home, in the garage or in the truck, whatever, what you can do is store it where you plan on it and opt for this cover that's designed to work when you don't have a ball in the socket. So, you can see it's got that square pattern there that fits right in there. And with this one, it fits nice and tight. So, I definitely don't see this one giving you any issues at all as far as getting loose or anything like that. And when you push it down, you can kinda feel it almost seal. So honestly, it should do a great job of, you know, keeping all that dirt and debris, moisture, things like that, especially for those of you that use your truck to work and you might load up a bunch of material back here, whether it be gravel or mulch, something like that. You know, you're not gonna have to worry about that junk falling down in there and making your hitch kind of a pain to use. So, an easy stuff that you can take to keep everything in good working order. So with any B&W product, these things are well-made. They're actually thick rubber, not flimsy, little thin caps that are gonna fall apart. So, should get some use out of them. And honestly, if it we're me, which one I would choose, it kinda just depend on my particular situation. If I was somebody that parked my truck outside all the time and the bed was exposed, so you didn't have a tonneau covers or anything like that, I would probably choose to keep my ball inside the trunk or in the house and use the cover for the empty socket. On the other hand, if I parked in the garage overnights and had a tonneau cover, things like that, I'd probably just keep my ball in the hitch and use the cover for that. That way, it's a little more secure and things like that. If you have had issues in the past with security as far as stuff inside of your bed goes, a tonneau cover really does help kinda cover that issue. And if that's something you think you would wanna look into, we offer many different types of types of tonneau covers right here at Etrailer. So, at the end of the day, I mean it is a trailer hitch cover, but it is going to achieve a few things, help keeping it more secure and protected and things like that. And honestly, I look at it as kind of the finishing touch for a really nice trailer hitch. And that'll finish up our look at of the line of B&W under bed gooseneck trailer hitch covers..

Very well. My research paid of on this one. Install thanks for video, went quite well even with just floor jack and jack stands. Been over 7000 miles and no issues thus far. Ride is very good, with no chucking, or popping. I recommend a preservative on all hard AFTER installation. Kind of a pain, but has great dividends when switching from standard 5th wheel hitch to Gooseneck ball.

Perfect fit and look!!!

Fits into the receiver snug and doesn’t pop out. I live in the north where the roads are salted. Don’t have to worry about the ball getting stuck or having a hole in the bed

Highly recommended. Snug fit and keeps all the elements and whatever materials you put in the bed out of the receiver hole. I pull the ball out and put it in the cab of my truck and put this cover on. I had to hit it with a shovel removing a bed full of dirt in order for this cover to be moved out of place.

by:

An exact fitment. Not too shabby.
