Many tow systems require some sort of hitch accessory to either raise or lower your tow bar so that it sits level. To determine if your setup needs an adapter, hook the tow bar up to your RV and towed car and measure to see how close to level it is. The "safe zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3 inches above level to 3 inches below. Car-mounted models must be absolutely level. This high-low adapter can provide you with the necessary drop or desired rise to achieve a level tow bar setup.

The hitch was what I was looking for. Perfect in all ways because this drop will get my tow vehicle back to level with the motorhome.
This thing is HEAVY DUTY!!! I far exceeded my expectations and does the job perfectly. Thanks to quality materials and excellent welds I will not worry one bit as I tow my brand new Rubicon behind the coach.

Heavy duty adapter. Very happy with it!
I recently bought a new truck. My wife's wheelchair ramp was to steep and difficult to load her chair.
I ordered the 10" drop receiver and it was a great investment. Rugged construction, beautiful finish and looks great on the truck.
No longer do I struggle to load her chair. I ordered it and was at my door step in 2 days. Outstanding service, I will order from you again for all my trailer or ramp needs again.

Solid solution to raising our bike rack on our F350.
I needed to lower my ebike carrier when using it on my motorhome. This 10" hitch adapter makes it much easier to load/unload the bikes.

The Blue OX adapter is built very well and fits the purpose of use.
Needed this to get my new Blue Ox Avail tow bar installed properly. Note that this adapter is almost a foot long. Make sure your trailer light cable will still be long enough to reach the towed vehicle's plug once you've installed this.

Sturdy, high quality piece, exactly the tool for the job. Cant even imagine finding something to complain about so Im still a happy purchaser.
Great product! Just what I needed for the extension support for my UTV. It raises the level to meet the bed.

The product arrived in just a couple of days after I ordered it. It is very well built as I expected from Blue Ox. It fit our motorhome's receiver perfectly and allows our GMC Canyon to be towed with the tow bar level.

We are still very pleased with our Blue OX products. We towed our Canyon to Texas, Alabama and back to Michigan last winter with no problems
Just what I needed to tow my lifted Jeep Wrangler and level the towbar out.
WELL BUILT. PURCHASED TO HOOK UP WHEELCHAIR CARRIER TO DODGE TRUCK
Looks good and will raise winch. Knew male insert would be to long and after finding a machine shop that can drill a new pin hole through the 2" insert should work fine.
Not much exciting I can say about a big, heavy piece of steel, but this is another example of typical Blue Ox quality. Very well built with clean welds and good finish work.

excellent part help me out a lot
This has got to be the best high rise tow adapter on the market. It is well made with quality materials, excellent craftsmanship and comes backed with excellent customer service. I installed this lift on my Kawasaki Mule a year ago and have never taken it off. I use it to raise a log holding unit for cutting firewood. Needless to say, it gets some rough handling. It's all good and I couldn't be happier. Heavy duty is an understatement...

After a over a year of use, I still couldnt be happier. Im going to put the high rise lift to work this afternoon. My Kawasakit Mule is going to wear out long before the lift, and my mule is tough as...nails, a mule, twisted steel. Lets just say this is a great high rise adapter. And customer service is crazy good. etrailer is wonderful! Happy New Year.
The Blue Ox 10" rise/drop trailer hitch I order from etrailer.com appears to be of the highest quality. I had hoped to find a dual-receiver hitch with a 10" rise/drop, but it appeared that the maximum available rise/drop in a dual-receiver hitch is about 4".
