Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the blue ox tow bar cover. Now this is gonna work with the blue ox veil as well as the blue box ascent. And this is just a nice way if you plan on keeping your tow bar on the back of your RV and you're not flat towing you can slip this over and it's gonna keep your tow bar nice and clean and protected from the elements. Now this is made of vinyl so it's gonna hold up to those elements. And again, it's just better than this getting all nasty and dirty and that way you can keep this on there and when you are actually ready to flat tow your vehicle pull the cover off and this should be nice and clean and it's just gonna make set up a little bit of a friendlier job. Now going along with that you're gonna see some holes here, some little grots and that's kind of nice too because if any moisture if you cover this up while it was wet it's gonna allow this to kind of air out and that way you don't have any mold or mildew build up and putting it on super easy.
Just gonna kind of slide this over and it works really well on this and the ascent because well, it's designed for it. So you just kind of put the tow bar obviously in the folded position and just make your way down here. And then once you have this kind of closed up over it you have hook and move here. Just to kind of cinch this down, make sure it's not gonna go anywhere all going down the highway. Not only does this look really nice, it matches the tow bar you can see it's got the blue ox embroidered in here so overall it just looks really good and it's protecting your investment.
Tow bars are obviously not very cheap and you want to keep it looking nice and performing for the lifespan or at least trying to extend it with this cover. So you know as far as your boots, when those extend those are out in sunlight or the elements long term they're gonna break down and that's kind of what protects your tow bar from any grime getting on the shaft. Well, having this here is gonna protect those from breaking down so you're just buying quite a bit more time for your tow bar's lifespan. Fit perfectly and protects the towbar well, when I’m not pulling my toad. Also keeps people from brushing against it and getting dirty or scratching themselves when accessing the rest compartment.

I have been using this Blue Ox tow bar kit for a year now and have put over 10,000 miles on it. It has performed flawlessly and in my opinion it is an excellent product that I would highly recommend. etrailer is a great company to work with and their website is easy to use and has great information.

I was contacted immediate after I ordered my blue ox cover, again when it shipped with an estimated time of arrival. Showed up at my house two days early and fits perfectly. Great communication, great service, will definitely order from etrailor in the future.
The product is OK, if the RV is not in motion; the cover lacks a method to secure it to the tow bar.
Looks really nice and has Velcro fastener on one end. Also has grommets in it also but no cord to lace in on with. Would be more secure with the grommets laced up and fit tighter.
It worked great until it didn't. It failed after about 3500 miles. Not sure why. Contacted Blue Ox and had to send it to them to determine why it failed and they said it was because I did not perform the proper maintenance. I disputed it since it was only six months old at the time. They eventually sent me a new one. Hopefully it performs better than the first. Also, I asked Etrailer for a receipt and they refused to send me one. Not very good customer service.
We purchased a used motorhome that had the Blue Ox Towing as well as the Patriot Brake system. We needed to order the tow plate for our toad as well as a few other items to get the set up ready. Kim was amazing at helping me get all of the parts needed to get us rolling! etrailer is the BEST!
The product was a cover for the New Avail Blue Ox tow bar. The new bar is long and beautiful. The new cover is longer than the old black one and done is a nice dark brown with Gold Letters… Looks Expensive!
The BEST thing of the entire thing is HOW GREAT "eTrailer" ships and handles their orders & business. Will always look here FIRST for my coaches needs. Price was GREAT!

Works great. We pull our Jeep and you don't know it's behind the motorhome.
Awesome deal all the way through! From order to delivery, it was just a couple days and the product is as expected, a great fit from Blue Ox.
This order was for a tow bar cover (second order) because I inadvertently ordered the wrong cover when ordering the tow bar. Upon inquiring about returning the prior cover, the process was easy and quick - received a return mailing label the same day, via email, and was able to return the wrong one for credit, less cost of return shipping. Received the new cover within three or four days of placing the order. My one suggestion is to provide a link to the proper tow bar cover when ordering the tow bar.

Still looks great, I do wipe it down after driving with it on, which isn’t often. It just looks sharp on my Tiffin!
