Today we are going to review Part Number BDW20090. This is the Bulldog Aluminum House Fairlead for the Bulldog Power Sports ATV Winches. This fairlead is designed for the Bulldog 2000 lb. to 3500 lb. Power Sport ATV Winches with the long drum. A fairlead is used to be mounted in front of your winch and the rope of the winch is fed through this rope hole and by doing that, it helps keep your rope from getting damaged and helps the rope in line on the drum. The house fairlead is constructed of a CNC machined aluminum with a black anodized finish for corrosion protection. This one is going to be 3/4 of inch thick and has a rope hole that is chamfered on both sides, on the front and on the back.

That being chamfered gives a rounded surface which helps as far as not damaging your rope that goes through here. This does come with the two round head silver zinc plated mounting hardware for installing this. The length of this is determined by the measure of the center of this mounting hole to the center of this mounting hole. If we put a ruler on that, this one is measured 164.5 millimeters, which translates into 6.5 inches. One thing that I do want to note that on the aluminum house fairleads, these are to be used for winches that use a synthetic rope and they are not to be used for wire rope winches.
