Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank. Now this steel shank is going to slide into your two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver and give you the attachment point that you need for your weight distribution systems head assembly. This is designed for use with most weight distribution systems. And on your screen, I'm putting in the weight capacity there for you.
So the maximum gross trailer weight is gonna be 22,000 pounds. The maximum tongue weight is 3000 pounds. And this does feature nine adjustment holes for attaching the head assembly, letting you level your trailer with your tow vehicle. The holes are spaced at one and a quarter inches apart on center and seven drop or rise positions are available to fit your particular application. Now bringing my ruler up here, I just wanted to give you some measurements that my proof helpful for you.
So looking at the overall height, we are sitting right at 12 and a half inches. The overall length, from end to end, as you can see, we're sitting right about 13 inches. And then let me give you some other measurements that might prove helpful for you. So I'm going to begin my measurements measuring from the distance from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the adjustment holes. So I'm gonna line my ruler up there on center.
So as you can see, from the first hitch pin hole to our adjustment hole is seven and a half inches. Bring that up so you can see there. Moving over to the second hitch pin hole on center, it's gonna be nine inches. And then the distance again from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the front of our shank, we are sitting right at about eight and a half inches. And then moving down to that second hole on center, 10 inches.
And then turning this around and measuring from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank. Looks like we're right at three inches. Hopefully you can see that. Now this does feature a very sturdy powder coat finish over a very sturdy steel. BulletProof Hitches always makes really great products, very strong, very durable. This is no exception to that. It also does include a pin and clip. And I do wanna point out that the BulletProof Hitches locking pin is not gonna be compatible with their weight distribution shank. Just so you're aware of that. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
