2 Mounting Positions
The mounting brackets have 2 height settings to provide more or less clearance above the top crossbars of your headache rack. Use the top 2 holes of the mounting brackets for minimal clearance above the crossbar. Use the bottom 2 holes of the mounting bracket to increase the clearance by 1/2" above the crossbar.
Installation
The brackets mount to the top crossmember of your Kabgard headache rack with bolts and mounting plates. Simply set the bracket on top of the bar with the long end extending towards the cab of your truck. Insert the bolts through the holes in the bracket - one above the headache rack crossmember and one below it - and thread the mounting plate over the ends of the bolts. Then secure with washers and nuts.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at the light bar, mount brackets for the cab guard, headache rack on your vehicle. So this is going to be an accessory for that cab guard going on the back of your cab and allows you to mount up a light bar up to about five feet long. So it gives you a nice mounting place for that. So basically the way that this is going to be mounted up to that cab guard, is it's just going to squeeze around that top bracket on your headache rack.
And then the long end of the L goes up and over that towards the front of your vehicle. So it gives you that easy mounting spot for your light. With the two of them, that's going to span the length of our light bar, pretty much wherever we want it to be, or wherever lines up with the holes in the bottom of that light bar, there are a couple different holes to match up with the bottom of that light bar.So we can get that mounted in place. As far as the length of the bracket itself from outside edge to the end here, it's about eight and three quarter inches long. If we go the other way, it's about five and a half inches.
So the total bracket length there is five and a half inches. Going from kind of the middle section of our bracket to that top of the bar, it's about three and three quarter inches roughly. And then the highest that we can mount that up would probably be about there. And that's about three inches. So we'll have a little bit of adjustment with the slotted holes here to slide our bracket up or down to give us the proper spacing on our rack.
It does come with the hardware, we'll get four long bolts, washers, and nyloc nuts for that. So we can get those mounted up and it just basically squeezes tight around that top bracket of your headache rack as I said before. The distance for our mounting holes here. So from the back edge of the bracket to that first hole, to the center of that, it's about two and a half inches. From there to our next one, it's about an inch and a half. So it'd be about four inches from the back of the bracket.
And then from the back of the bracket, all the way to the end holds about seven and three quarter inches or about three and three quarter inches from one hole to the other. From the first to the second hole, it's about five and a quarter inches. Just to give you an idea of the difference in height there, or this distance between those, the bracket itself is two inches wide and about a quarter of an inch thick. This back smaller piece is about four inches long. The space between our bolts is about two and a quarter inches. So it should grab around that headache rack with no problem.Again, the maximum bar length of this can take is five inches wide. The mounting holes for each of these is going to be three eighths of an inch in diameter. It does come with a one-year warranty and it is made in the USA. As far as the construction, it does have a high or a durable carbon steel construction with a black powder coat finish over that to make sure that there's no rust or corrosion. But that's going to do it for our look at the buyer's products, light bar mount for the cab guard, headache rack. If you need any other accessories like that light bar to mount up with your brackets, you can find those in many more right here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Brackets let you mount a light bar up to 5' long on your Kabgard headache rack. 2 Mounting positions allow you to customize height of brackets. Easy, bolt-on installation with included hardware. Carbon steel with black powder coat finish.Worked out great! Holes didn't line up with my Light bar, but had no problem mounting light bar with self tapping screws. I'm a Firefighter and this worked out great to mounting on my headache rack.
Very easy to install to add an LED warning lightbar to my ARIES Headache Rack on my 1990 Chevy K3500 1-Ton 4x4 Dually. The very straight-forward installation only took about 5 minutes to complete.
Brackets are very nice and heavy duty. They arrived quickly. Included hardware had the wrong size washers (too small) but otherwise worked perfectly.
Awsome product at an awsome price. It is a perfect fit for my Back Rack on my Silverado, great addition for my warning light bar, it took all of about 5 minutes to install and looks great. It is made of heavy duty metal which is powder coated with heavy duty bolts for installation. Thanks etrailer for having it at such a low price compared to other stores. I will definitely shop etrailer in the future if I need any more products/accessories for my truck.

Still working great, still looks new.
A great product that I am using for my new trailer lights. I wish these brackets were pre-drilled to fit. This product has multiple usages if they could be made to customers' specifications.
Perfect fit for my headache rack
Comes with 2 long and 4 short bolts, wish it came with 4 long bolts as well so you can use this with 2" tubing as the holes allow for 2" spacing but the short bolts only accommodate a 1.25" or 1.5" tube. No big deal, I'm just going to go out and buy some longer bolts at the hardware store. Other than that, beefy product that's worth the price.
Heavy duty mount! Using to mount a hydraulic multiplier on a John Deere tractor! With, some modifications!! Thanks
Good heavy duty brackets
