Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at these Buyers Products self-adhesive, magnetic mounting plates. Now, these plates are going to stick to your cab roof to enable you to use magnetic mounts on your aluminum cab truck. And these are going to be ideal for a magnetic light mounts such as your light bars, strobe beacons and spotlights. But they're also going to be great for many magnetic mount CB and ham radio antennas with a wider base.
So, that'll have a better connection to the plate itself. And the strong and durable 3M tape is going to stay stuck to your truck, even at highway speeds and even through demanding weather. You just wanna make sure that you stick the strips to a flat surface. And you also wanna make sure that you completely clean that surface before sticking these on. Now, these magnetic plates are made with a black powder coated carbon steel, making them durable and resistant to corrosion.
I pulled out my little magnet here just to show that they are indeed ready for your magnetic bases and mounts. And let me pull out my ruler here just to go over some measurements here with you. These are going to be measuring 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. And you are going to get four mounting pads. Instructions are included to go in a little more detail about actually mounting these on your vehicle.

I have them mounted on top of my 2017 F-350 for a year now and have had no problems so far. My magnetic mount CB & Ham Radio antennas have hit low hanging tree branches and have not had any problems at all. Great product. Would buy again.
There grest just whst i needed for my strobe light..my truck is aluminum..so these work great.
I recently purchased a 2019 F150 with an aluminum body; my emergency light with magnets no longer worked! Go figure! The self-adhesive mounting plates are the perfect answer! I saw, I ordered; they were delivered promptly. What more could I ask?!
Should work good for antenna mount on aluminum truck
Very happy with the products and the quick delivery.Needed this light bar for plowing and with an aluminum body Ford I needed the magnets to mount for the magnetic light bar. Exactly what I needed.
They look like they should work... are those small strips of double sided sticky tape all that holds them to the truck? They hold at freeway speeds?

Yes, thee adhesive backing is a strong 3M tape that will hold to the truck. They can withstand freeway speeds.
Great for mounting a yellow light for snow plowing.
As advertised - works very well on roof mounted lights
I have not had a chance to put these on yet as it is too cold. However, my first impressions are that these are heavy duty. I am not sure about the thin strip of 3M tape so I might add a couple more strips to to make sure it holds. Other than that, it looks to be a superior product

Still working Awesome.. exposed to elements all year, hot sun and snow..

Two worked extremely well. Two didn’t adhere well to plastic.

The product i bought worked great i adherd them to my fiberglass pu truck cap. My strobe light stayed in place even at highway speeds..i would buy again if i ever needed..
