Video Transcript for CE Smith Tires and Wheels CE11050 Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the 7/16" by 20 Zinc Plated Steel Trailer Wheel Lug Nut. This lug nut is designed to fit 7/16" diameter wheel studs. The threads on this is a right hand normal thread, it's 20 threads per inch. If you notice on the very bottom of this lug nut, it has the 60 degree taper on it which is designed to fit the 60 degree taper on the lug hole of the wheel you installed it on. This is a heat treated steel, it's very sturdy and durable. Now the head size or outer diameter of this lug nut is going to be 3/4".

I happened to pull a 3/4" socket just to show you it fits perfectly right inside there. Now this part is for quantity of one lug nut, and the last measurement I want to give you is the length of the nut which is top to bottom. If we take a ruler, put it on it from the very bottom to the very top, it's right at 9/16". That should do it for the review of the 7/16" by 20 Zinc Plated Steel Trailer Wheel Lug Nut.

Worked great.

Nice product and great quality for jet ski trailer

good quality lug nut, thought it ws a two pack, my mistake. Always a pleasure to do business withe E-Trailer.

First of all, let me confess that I do NOT have a trailer.
I am a gunsmith and I reload.
I needed some "no-snag" nuts for my old Pacific reloading press.
Since the threads are UNF, I looked and looked and looked, till I found these nuts.
They are PERFECT!
Well dimensioned, they offer two wrench sizes, and the finish is good.
And the thread is . . . well . . . good enough for a gunsmith who deals in high precision endeavors.
So, yes, buy with confidence, just make sure that your lugs are truly this size and pitch.
Best of lucks!

Hector I.

GREAT! These nuts stay put. I do not subject the nuts to the vibrations that are experienced in the trailers, but they stay put in a difficult situation: Stresses that are bidirectional. Very happy.

Who knew I'd be famous someday for my lug nut review!... Seems like an ordinary nut. It is that and no much more. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat because etrailer is just so darned fine to deal with.

Richard B.

Nuts remain secure as ever,

These fit the spare carrier I bought here, but unfortunately they are smaller than the lug nuts on my 3.5K axles. They take a 19mm (3/4") wrench and trailer axle nuts use a 21mm. I might be able to get them off with my 21mm lug wrench (by wrapping them with a thin piece of cardboard/paper), but I plan to carry a 19mm just in case. The description did not state the wrench size, else I may have chosen a different option.

i ordered new tire and rims plus new lug nuts and all look great for my 65 chevy truck bed trailer, plus i ordered tail lamps and clearance lights super fast service and super good products, very happy i did.

Although I didn't order an expensive item, the product and customer service have got to be the best a business can offer. I received my order super quick and was kept updated from start to finish. I am glad to write a excellent review for and won't hesitant to come back again when I need one of their products. I highly recommend for your trailer needs.

A year of good use and these lug nuts are still tight. Would purchase them again if needed. Good quality service too.

Every item I ordered a year ago has performed flawlessly! Noteworthy is the tire gauge by Slime. Awesome tire gauge.

Just what I was looking for! Fast shipping was not disappointed one bit! Why go to the parts store when these are just as good and cheaper!

A good product and fast and fair shipping and I am a repeat customer A+++

  • Needing Stainless Steel Lugs Nuts with a 7/16X20 Thread
I might have a solution for you. However, we do not carry 7/16 inch x 20 thread lug nuts that are made of stainless steel. We do have the CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut, # CE11050. This is a zinc coated 7/16 inch x 20 lug nut. The lug is steel and has a rust resistant and long lasting zinc coating.

  • Replacement Lug Nut for Spare Tire on Coleman Bayside Camper Trailer
Trailer makers rarely maintain specs for small items like the lug nuts used in fabrication of their camper trailers but since that part is likely to be one of only a few possibilities what you can do is precisely measure the diameter of the stud it connects to and count the threads per inch (TPI). Then you can use the linked page to select a lug nut such as # CE11050. This part happens to fit on a 7/16-inch-diameter stud and it has 20 threads per inch (20-tpi) but other sizes and thread...

  • Is the CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # CE11050 Compatible With a 1983 Chevy K10 Pickup
The CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # CE11050 will fit 7/16"-20 wheel studs and it has 20 threads per inch. It also has the standard 60-Degree coned design. As long as the studs and wheels on your 1983 Chevrolet K10 meets these requirements then you can most certainly use this lug nut on your truck.

  • Installation Of The CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier # CE27202 On 3 By 2 Inch Frame
The CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier - Locking - Steel - 4-Lug and 5-Lug Wheels - 8-3/4" # CE27202 is designed for trailer frames up to 3 inches wide. You will want to have the brackets screw down all the way to the hub or you won't hold the tire tight. I recommend using the lug nuts # CE11050 and then the brackets and lock. This keeps the tire tight to the frame, the wheel tight and yet centered and unscratched, and then the brackets and lock close to those lug nuts.

  • Lug Nuts for a Boat Trailer Wheel
We do have a selection of lug nuts for boat trailer wheels here at etrailer that I have linked to below. To choose the correct one, you will need to know the size of your wheels' studs. For example, part # CE11050 fits a 7/16" wheel bolt.

  • Troubleshooting 1/2"-20 Lug Nuts Fitting Loose
I wonder if you're needing a smaller lug nut like the 7/16"-20 CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # CE11050. If your 1/2"-20 lug nuts have some play then the smaller option might be better. That or your studs are damaged and you need to replace them. It would also be helpful to measure the diameter of your studs to make sure you have the correct application.

  • Correctly Sized Lug Nuts for Trailer Wheels
The lug nuts you need are going to depend on the diameter of your wheel bolts. For example, the 3/4" Americana # AM26NR fits a 1/2" wheel bolt with 20 threads per inch while the 3/4" CE Smith # CE11050 fits 7/16"-20 wheel bolts. I've added a link to our page with each of our lug nuts for you so you can find the correct one for your application.

The wheel lug nuts on the Malone EcoLight Trailer # MAL53FR have a 3/4-inch outside dimension like lug nut # CE11050. • Comparison of 1/2 Wheel Stud Lug Nuts for Trailer Wheel
We have three different CE Smith lug nuts available. Two of them are for 1/2 inch diameter studs like the part # AM26NR and the part # CE11051. Difference between these two is the first part number is an acorn style that covers the entire stud and the other is more of a standard nut. The lug nut we have for a 7/16 inch stud is the part # CE11050 which is also like a standard nut but beveled to fit a trailer wheel.

  • Lug Nuts Needed for a 16 Trailer Wheel
If you are looking for lug nuts for the 16" Lionshead Steel Dual Wheel - 16" x 6" - 8 on 6-1/2 - 4.77" Pilot - Silver Item # LHHA420 that you referenced then you need the 5/8" Flange Wheel Nut # 95188. For a standard 16" wheel like the Dexstar Silver Modular Trailer Wheel # AM20760 you would need a 60 degree coned lug nut like part # CE11050. For a vehicle you may need different lug nuts as trailers can sometimes use different lug nut sizes than passenger vehicles.
