These bushings help the hitch head to tilt with the movement of your truck while you tow.I replaced these bushings as mine had some noticeable wear. Very simple to replace. Remove the bolt and pry the bushing off. Reverse the process to replace. Tap the bushing most of the way on and then draw the rest of the way on with the bolt and square washer. Watch which way they were on the shaft originally as the center steel tube is not centered.
My hitch is three years old with about 15,000 miles pulling my 44' 5th wheel.
These were direct shipped from Curt.
I was very pleased with the entire procedure: finding what I needed, ease of ordering, delivered quickly, and was exactly what I needed. I installed them and while towing the very loud and unnerving clunk when accelerating or stopping had disappeared. I would add a picture, but the bumpers are invisible when the hitch is put together and installed on the truck.

I really appreciate the work you have done so I could get my project finished. You were such a great help Rebuilding my Curt Q20 was so easy, everything went together just fine. As I have the A20, I plan on selling the Q20. I will not sell anything that I would not be happy with. The Curt Q20 is safe and ready for the next owner.

I ordered this part and the Curt Factory was out of them. I was notified promptly about the delay. I did get the parts after 5 weeks and they were exactly what I ordered.

When I replaced this part last year, the old part was worn slightly. This new part is now wore worse. I dont believe the part is to blame
