No drilling required.I purchased this Curt Easy Mount bracket to compliment my recently installed Curt C11402 trailer hitch receiver. There aren’t many places where a trailer connector can be mounted on the rear of my 2020 Kia Optima SX. This mounting bracket solved the problem. I performed some modification to the mount bracket in order to use a 6-way round trailer connector for the 1 1/4" receiver bracket. Now I can utilize either my car or motorcycle trike to haul the small Aspen pop-up camper. There was some concern about lighting system compatibility between the trailer's LED lights and car wiring but electrical t-taps directly to the existing brake/turn and marker light system did prove to work properly. The only downside to this bracket is it doesn’t clamp tight on the hitch drawbar receiver! I had to make spacers for this Curt bracket to clamp securely onto the Curt hitch receiver! Given the time to customize this to my needs, I’m happy with the look and function of the Curt bracket.

I sell and install a variety of components for various companies and individuals. I have zero comebacks from this company. Not that I haven't received defective parts but they always make it right. And that is good business.
Product seems like will work. Somebody else complained about appearance, but I saw no issue when first installed. To prevent movement bracket had to be pretty tight. This caused a little bowing on the front. A few taps with a rubber mallet fixed the issue.
Nuts are 5/16". Don't recall seeing this in the instructions.
Mounted it with the 4-way connector up on the driver side. Have since removed the bracket as found it interfered with installation of the bolt required to mount my bicycle rack to the hitch.
I have since decided may not need trailer wiring as only plan on using the hitch for the bikes. If do, will turn the bracket over & mount on the passenger side. This should not interfere with the bolt installation.
Worked great on my 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback. Unlike the previous generation (2021 and older) you DO NOT have to trim the internal metal bumper for clearance of the outer plastic bumper. Trimming the lower diffuser was pretty easy and only required a 3-1/4 in cut in depth and about 2-1/4 in width (If you want the gaps super tight). Remember to tape off the panels before you get started to prevent chips and paint scratches and you'll be set.
Holds trailer plug in just fine. No iss ues.
Product works as described by provider. Easy to install and meets my need.
Functions as described - a little concerned that it may be subject to damage during backing, but so far no issues.
Easy instal, arrived quickly, very plea sed.
Very sturdy product. Works as advertised to hold your plug and keep it from dragging on the road.

Disappointed that the powder coat finish deteriorated as quickly as it did. Had to remove it and refinish because it began to rust. Needs to have a better paint job!!!
