Jeff Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement handle for the CURT EZr and the original Double Lock underbed, gooseneck trailer hitches. Now, this part here will replace a lost or damaged handle that's on the CURT EZr or the original Double Lock gooseneck trailer hitch. This handle is what will attach to the dual locking pin on your hitch using the bolt and the nut that comes with the locking pin. Now, that locking pin, we do sell separately on our website.
It's part number C53WR, and it's listed on this product page as a related product. And for this video, I happen to pull one. You can see here's the dual locking pin, and here's the nut and bolt that comes with it. But basically, what happens as this gets installed, you'll see the end here with the hole in it. You just slide that through there.
Once you get the hole lined up, then you run your bolt and nut through there and that attaches it. So, basically, when this handle is released, these dual locking pins right here is what'll slide through the dual holes on the base of the hitch ball, and secure the ball into the gooseneck hitch. Now, if you notice on the one end here, it has a nice rubber grip that allows you to grab the handle and release it or open it. And the total handle length, from this end to this end is right at 22 3/8 inches long. But that should do it for the review on this replacement handle for the Curt EZr and the original Doubler Lock underbed, gooseneck trailer hitches..

Replaces a lost or damaged handle for your Curt EZr or original Double Lock gooseneck trailer hitch. Handle operates gooseneck ball locking pins.Replacement parts for the Curt 5th wheel hitch were initially hard to find. Curt's website lists all the local stores that sell or used to sell hitches years ago, but nobody carries or even knows how to order replacement parts that rusted over the last 12 years. I checked them all. Then I did a search and e trailer came up in the results. I put in my vehicle and it brought up a list of hitches and at the bottom of the page was all the replaceable parts. Couldn't have been any easier. Shipping was free and fast.
