Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Camco 9 1/2 inch long, aluminum RV water heater anode rod. Now, this aluminum anode rod will attract corrosive elements in your RV's water heater, protecting your tank from corrosion. The anode rod will corrode, so that the water heater tank doesn't, and it'll extend the life of your water heater. It is a 3/4 inch diameter by 9 1/2 inch long rod that fits the Suburban Mor-Flo heaters.
And it is a very easy installation. All you do is remove your drain plug and then screw this anode rod in place of that. But that should do it for the review on the Camco 9 1/2 inch long, aluminum RV water heater anode rod..

I got a reply from Bryce D. He gave me bad information. The packer used a box WAY TOO LARGE for my item and didn't use any kind of padding or packing. The freight company mishandled my package and damaged the original package. In the meantime, my item went from Eastern MO to Georgia to Memphis and then to me. A better freight company could have cut off shipping times by at least a day. So I get my item and called customer service (her extension was 72914) to let y'all know about the misinformation, the damaged package, and try to see if you have what I need. She tells me to call Camco and try to find it and every time I tried to tell her about the packaging and the damage she cut me off. I finally decided it was useless to tell her anything and hung up. Very bad service from start to finish and now I have a damaged item and am out $[XX]. If I could give negative stars on this transaction I would do so.

Had it in for a year, inspected it this fall during winterization and it was in very good shape

It is working as designed. I use the camper frequently through the winter, and pull the anode to drain the hot water tank after every use in cold weather.
