I had one of these telescoping awning pullers for years. The original that came with my trailer is one long, solid piece and I was always worried about what I would do if I accidentally left it behind after tearing down and hitting the road. I purchased the first one as a backup as it was easy to store at only 11 inches long. I sold the trailer a few years ago but still had the telescoping puller. I don't have that kind of awning on my 5th wheel, but I have used it for many purposes. I accidentally broke it using it for something I shouldn't have. I found this online with you and ordered it. It was exactly the same as my other one. I was glad to have it back! The price was right and the shipping very quick. Thanks for the great service.
These are the handiest items that I have ever used. They collapse down for easy storage, yet they pull open, so I can reach up high for my awning. They work GREAT. I liked the 1that I brought, that I had to buy a second one. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to EVERYONE. You can’t go wrong.
Louis S - 11/04/2020The collapsible Camco Awning opener is great for pulling down my trailer awning and pulling out stuff from the front of my pick-up bed. It collapses to about 12" and extends to about 36". It really works well.
Just what I needed to pull my shades out without having to use a ladder. Tried it out and seems strong enough. Some reviews indicated item was weak and of poor quality and I'm not seeing that. It is of better quality and strength than I thought it was going to be because of the low price. It is so small I'll just leave it under the passenger seat in my class A RV for ease of finding and use. Quick ship from etrailer also.
Very flimsy!! Extended it and used it one time! On the third awning as the pull tag was within arms length (thank goodness) the hook at the end of the pole came off ! I was able to super glue it back into place but worried it will not hold. I will not buy this Camco item again.
Because this tool collapses to a shorter size, it makes it easy to store next to the entrance door of our RV. Very quickly accessible when setting up the RV to pull the manual canopies down. Definitely a tool you should have.
Nice size and lightweight. Wish the hook at the end was a little longer, otherwise, it's perfect.

Very poorly made. The first time we used it, it broke. Guess you get what you pay for.
