Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this DeeMaxx stainless steel disc brake caliper. This caliper will fit your 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axle braking systems. This is a stainless steel construction, so it is gonna be a great upgrade if you're looking to have more rust-resistant caliper for your braking system. This stainless steel construction does provide superior durability and corrosion resistance, so it is gonna be great for your freshwater and saltwater use, will hold up really well for a long time to come. Now this does use ceramic brake pads.

They're gonna provide a superior performance for your braking. It's gonna give you a nice consistent braking. It will also withstand high temperatures for maximum wear and it's got the slotted design. It's gonna minimize your brake squealing, so it's gonna give you a nice quiet ride. On the inside here, you can see we do have this two and a quarter inch diameter stainless steel piston that gives you ample braking torque for a much shorter stopping distance.

Now this does feature the floating design, so it's gonna ensure smoother braking with less wear and potential leaks. On the backside here, you can see we do have the laser-etched instructions that are gonna help take the guesswork out of getting your brakes installed and bleeding them. The bleeder valves do have these rubber caps to ensure that no contaminants get into there and cause them to be gunked up, and we'll ensure that they'll still be functioning for you. So all around this is gonna be a great option, especially if you are looking to upgrade into a system that's gonna hold up well in those saltwater kind of environments, where it's gonna be typically a very corrosive. This is gonna be a great way to go.
