Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this DeeMaxx zinc-plated disc brake caliper for 10,000-pound to 16,000-pound dual-wheel axles. Now, this is a two-piston caliper. It is constructed of a zinc-plated cast iron for superior corrosion resistance. The cast iron construction of this prevents flexing which will keep your braking torque consistent. It is a floating design so it ensures smoother braking with less wear and potential leaks.

And it is a dual piston, you can see the dual pistons right here, and they are stainless steel pistons to provide absolute rust protection and they'll minimize any sticking by maintaining integrity of the piston. The brake pads that are included are semi-metallic brake pads. They provide superior performance for more consistent braking. They'll last longer than your organic pads, and they produce less dust than the non-asbestos organic models. Now, over here on this side where the pistons are, if you look on it, they do have laser etched instructions that'll take the guesswork out of installing and bleeding the brakes.

It does even include this bleeder cap here that'll cover the bleeder screw to ensure there's no contaminants to get into your brake system. It does also include the stainless steel caliper bolts for installation. And again, the specs for this caliper, it is designed to fit axle ratings of 10,000-pound to 16,000-pound dual-wheel axles.
