Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. If you need a new replacement for your Dee Zee Specialty Series Truck Bed Tool Box, this is going to be the product for you.It's going to be a complete kit to get that replaced so it's going to have the actual lock and handle housing here. We'll have just that T-handle to lift up, turn to unlock our box. Comes with the two keys that we need to replace our original. So it's going to drop down that piece at the back and let us operate our handle normally so we can open everything up and then close it back down whenever we want to keep everything nice and safe. So if we turn around from the back you can see that mechanism, our lock just turns this little piece that drops this down so we can actually operate the handle.
So it keeps everything nice and secure. This is going to be a stainless steel T-handle with that guard plate. So it's going to be nice and stable, resistant to any kind of rust or corrosion. So it should stay looking nice for a long time. Also comes with new locknuts to get this installed on your Dee Zee box.As far as the measurements here, give you some numbers to think about.
Overall it measures about four and three quarter inches wide by about four and seven eighths of an inch tall. From front to back it's about three inches deep. So from the very front of our housing to the back of that little pin there. As far as our mounting holes go, the distance between those center to center is about three and.. about three and a quarter going one way and then about three and seven eighths going the other direction.
The recessed portion measures just about three and three eighths inches wide or a little closer to three and a half. And then about two. or excuse me, about three and three quarter inches going the other direction. inaudible 00:02:32 round to the outside, it's about three and three eighths by about two and five eighths.That's about all there is to it for our replacement lock and our toolbox handle latch for that Dee Zee Specialty Series Truck Bed Tool Box.
