Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Demco replacement shock damper for the DA66 and the DA66L model hydraulic brake actuators.Now the shock dampener is designed to fit the Demco DA66, the DA66L hydraulic brake actuators. And basically this shock will connect to the front coupler and to the body of the actuator, and it helped dampen the movement of the coupler when it moves in and out of the actuator.Give you a few measurements on this. Now, this is in the fully closed position. So the overall length from this end to this end is going to be right at 5 7/16 of an inch.
Measurement from the center of this eye, to the center of that eye when it's fully closed is right at 4 3/4 inches. Now, if we pull this fully out, it would give you an overall length of 6 11/16 inches. And the measurement center to center would be 6 inches. Now they have two different size eye diameters here, the larger one, right over here inside diameter on that is going to be right at 1/2 inch. And on the smaller inner diameter would be right at 7/16 of an inch.But that should do it for the review on this Demco replacement shock dampener for the DA66 and the DA66L model hydraulic brake actuators..

Good the old one was blown out leaking, it’s on a Loadrite 4 place snowmobile trailer so it sits all summer
Still working great after 1 year!
