Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement rail cover. This is going to replace the hard plastic cover on either side of the slide area for your 18,000-pound Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch. To point out where this is on the hitch itself, you can see here on this side this piece here, and then it would also be on the other side, right in there somewhere. It's hard to point out with that graphic, but this is going to be an exact replacement from Demco.
And so you can trust it's going to work. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. It is right at three and a quarter of an inch wide by 29 inches long.To replace it, you're just going to remove the screws from the two ends of your original. Put this one in its place and put those screws back in so that everything is going to be the way it's supposed to be. Protect those rails from any dirt debris or anything getting in them and causing problems.
This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's meant to the high-quality standards that we've come to know and trust. But more importantly, it is a Demco product, and it is a replacement for that autoslide. So you can trust it's going to work. You're not going to have to worry about trying to modify it or anything like that. It is going to be exactly what you need.
So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
