- Fits DM8550035, DM8550037, and DM8550038 5th-wheel hitches
Rotating hitch head turns up to 90 degrees with your trailer
- Rotation creates the force that propels the automatic slider
- Built-in brackets stabilize your pin box so the king pin won't rotate in the hitch - no need for a separate capture plate for standard pin boxes
Wraparound, single-piece jaw provides a secure connection
- 360-Degree jaw-to-king-pin contact
- Less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws
3/4" Thick, solid steel locking bar reinforces the connection of your coupled trailer

Parts Needed To Install Demco Autoslide 21K Hitch In a 2024 Ford F-350
Sorry Frank, I'm a little confused and think you may have put in the wrong number as I do not see anything coming up as a Demco 6170. If you are referring to the Head and Base Assembly # DM6107 then yes you will be able to install this into your 2024 Ford F-350. You will need either the Rail Kit # DM72GV along with the Side Plates # DM6003 if your truck did not come with the factory in bed connections. The # DM6107 Replacement Head and Base Assembly is missing the necessary side plates needed to attach to the # DM6099 OEM puck adapters. The complete hitch is part # DM8550035. You'd also need the # DM6099 or the # DM6194 adapter that will allow the hitch to attach to the in-bed puck system. Parts Needed to Install Demco Hijacker Base and Head 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500
The Demco part # DM6107 is the head and base for the Hijacker Autoslide with a 21k capacity. To attach this to a set of above bed fifth wheel rails you would need the part # DM6003. Then for a set of above bed rails that fits your 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 you would want the part # DM8552011-71 and you'd be set.

Differences Between Demco Hijacker Atuoslide Part DM6107 and DM8550035
The Demco # DM6107 only includes the hitch head and base assembly while the # DM8550035 is the entire hitch which also includes the side plates necessary to attach to industry standard bed rails such as those provided by the rail adapter for the puck system that you already have. Demco doesn't offer us those parts as replacements because the gear assembly is so critical to the operation of the hitch and if their replacement is not done correctly could have serious consequences. Can Demco Hijacker Autoslide 18K Be Converted To 21K?
The only difference between the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 18k # DM8550024 and the 21k # DM8550037 is the base assembly. Both use the same head, but the base is what gives each hitch its rating. To change the 18k to 21k you would need the 21k base and head assembly # DM6107 and the reuse the side brackets for mounting to your 5th wheel rails. The base is not available by itself.

Hey Brad! That's an interesting list of parts and I would be happy to help you. If your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 has the OEM puck system you will need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package item # DM6206. There's no side plates for the 2016-2019 GM puck system so the Replacement Side Plates for Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # DM6003 and the Replacement Head and Base Assembly for Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # DM6107...

Upgrading Demco Autoslide From 18k to 21k
If you want to upgrade your # DM8550024 to the 21k model you can with the Replacement Head and Base Assembly # DM6107. You already have the side plates # DM6033 so there is no reason to purchase them again with the full # DM8550038. The savings isn't huge but every bit helps. Since you have a Rota-Flex on the trailer you will also need the Demco Autoslide Capture Plates for Trailair Rota-Flex Pin Boxes # DM6171.
