Installed on a 2017 NuCamp Tag XL. Needed a little extra head room for the kitchen clamshell. Install was easy with basic tools, a couple jack stands, tape measure and some red loctite. Lift height is as claimed because it directly lifts the axle. Product has worked great, nothing has come loose or shifted. Stability towing has not changed. The only trouble is the wiring for the fender light is a little tight but that is a camper issue, no fault of the lift.1301382

The trailer is a Palomino Solaire 147x. Installation was straightforward. The lift in combination with taller wheels and tires accomplished the desired ride height.1625879

This trailer sees some use off pavement. The added ground clearance provided by the kit is very helpful. The lifting blocks are well constructed and the hardware is high quality. Installation was straightforward, but great care must be taken when lifting the trailer off the ground to remove the axles and also to ensure that the new fasteners are tightened properly. Not a job for inexperienced mechanics.1674354

Though I have not yet installed the Lift Kit, previous reviews confirm they will work well on my Escape 5.0 TA fifth wheel. Being in Canada and hearing about the poor condition of packages and product being delivered, I had some concerns. My 28’ car trailer was dragging every time I pulled into a parking lot or gas station.
I ordered & installed the lift kit & haven’t drug since!
It was easy to install (about 3 hours for both sides) with no drilling or fabricating. Removing the old, rusty nuts & bolts was the worst of it.
The kit came complete with new hardware, so it went together easily.
The instructions were thorough & complete.

Peace of mind is included in the kit! After damaging the steps on our Lance 1995 pulling out of a driveway, I decided it was time to install a lift kit. Installation took a few hours with the help of a friend and his flat driveway. The installation is relatively simple but not for the faint of heart. We jacked up one side at a time, inserted a couple of jack stands, unbolted the axles, and installed the spacers. It's a little tricky reaching all the bolts and nuts, but doable. We've since travelled about 6200 miles with no issues. Nice to know I don't have to be quite as careful pulling out of driveways.1693306

I ordered this kit in mid-May after seeing an email about it from a competitor site to etrailer.com. I ordered from the other site then got an email stating that the kit was on back order from Dexter until the end of June. I googled the Dexter part number and found that etrailer.com also sold it, and even better, etrailer was offering free freight and a slightly lower cost. Since the kit is heavy, free freight would save me about $40, so I cancelled the order with the first company and re-ordered from etrailer.com. I got an email from them as well about the extended back order but then, I also got a follow up call from them explaining the situation. The call was an extra added touch that I appreciated. Then, right at the end of May, I got an email stating that my Dexter kit had shipped, so I figured that etrailer.com must have put some pressure on Dexter to get off their butt and ship it! The kit itself was great, really well made parts, powder coated and heavy gauge. Honestly, I am surprised that they sell it for only $150. The install is tricky and will take you 6 hours if you are good with tools and like wrenching. Don't attempt this project on your own if you are not. Pay a trailer guy $400 to do it. You have to keep the axles aligned when you drop them...and the bolt placement is not great so you have to have hands that can fit in the tight cramped space and be able to get a wrench on the. Over all, I am very happy with the lift, it was a pretty simple and cost effective way for me to get better clearance for my Airtsream.....Airstreams are notoriously low and with the approach I have from my street to the driveway, I constantly battled dragging either the hitch or the rear. This kit solved that. I am super satisfied and highly recommend it if you are in the same situation as I was. Buy it from etrailer.com, they have the best customer service I have experienced when buying trailer and camping items on the internet.258114

It did exactly what I wanted it to do. It raised my trailer enough so I could fit bigger tires and up to now, eliminate bottoming out backing into a driveway with a small incline.1697569

I had read other reviews about poor quality paint on the product and I was a little worried. When it arrived the paint was fine. Installation wasn’t that hard - my only problem was that my brake wiring was run through the bracket so I had to cut the wire and rewire..

Quick ship, easy instructions,But holes don't exactly line up the same between all spacers. Put the ones that are offset on one axle so it shifted it rearwards 1/8 inch at its most forward position that the holes will allow. Had to shuffle the spacers to make it work as I marked with a square straight down the front of the axle bracket made it work as there is plenty of room in the wheel well.1660094

This kit was extremely easy to install. Great color directions came with it. On our 2019 E-Pro 19BH travel trailer it was as simple as remove 4 factory bolts (2 per side), lower the axle a bit, place lift block, & install 4 new bolts per side. With this kit, new wheels, & tires we were able to gain 4 inches of lift for our camper. Our waste holding tank drain pipe & valves were so close to the ground & we constantly would drag pulling into or out of areas. This gives us great peace of mind & our camper looks amazing to us now.805364

The product shipped fast, but in a broken up box. The parts were scattered throughout and looked used. I was missing some washers and a nut. Included in the box was some parts that didn’t belong with the order. Plus a flat head screw driver insert. For XXX dollars plus tax, the parts could have at least been put in a bag or something. It looks like I got someone else’s return. Not what I expected from etrailer. Waiting for a response from them. I sent pictures and asked if they received them. Nothing back from them yet.1655304

The lift kit is installed and works fine. It is installed on a 17 foot Casita Liberty WITH the shock absorber kit. The DEXTER people gave me 8 nuts that did not fit the bolts supplied. I HAD TO go to ACE hardware for 8 correct nuts at $x.xx each. I called etrailer and Odelia K was wonderful and has refunded me the full cost of the correct nuts. etrailer rocks. For the install, pulling on a torque wrench to get xxx lbs is no easy task while under the trailer. Instructions from Dexter were fine. Follow them and you will be happy with the result.1621961

This is an easy way to raise your trailer, airstream camper or other dexter axeled trailer. I have installed 3 of these on my trailers. The extra clearance is excellent and there is nobalignment issues all bolts backbthe way it was originally from the factory.

excellent kit....plenty of extra clearance for dirt roads that may not be graded or leveled perfectly. Sits higher in the tow position which levels out the trailer at a normal height instead of having to use a severe drop hitch.1603892

Kit seemed to be built well. Got my order a little slow, free shipping.. went on easy and instructions were clear, not many steps. When I did get my order it was missing a block. I called and the lady was extremely helpful. It wasn’t retailers fault, box was damaged in shipping, a block was left out when taped back together by a ups employee. I made the mistake of not counting parts in the beginning, just started to install. However it took 2 weeks to get the new block. I was told it would be marked urgent and would get it in a couple of days. I called a week later and was told again it would be marked urgent, at that point I asked if I could pay for faster shipping and was told no that it would be shipped fast. It took longer to get one piece which was in stock than it did to get original order. Not happy with the “urgent” but overall I am happy.1136078

Installed this kit on a 2017 Airstream Sport 16. We boondock a lot and the ground clearance was a problem. The 3" lift was a perfect solution to even out the ride height and give extra clearance in the back. The instructions are clear and I was able to do the entire project alone in just over 2 hours. The metal spacer fits precisely on to top of the axle, no adjustments were needed. I used 2 jack stands, 2 floor jacks, and an air gun which is a must or it would take twice as long. One of the jacks was used to hold the axle and to lift it up after the spacer is fitted. The lift kit is very good quality (besides the paint) and I feel confident it will last.
