Now, this replacement latch assembly is designed for use with Titan couplers and brake actuators for a 2 5/16-inch hitch ball. And it includes everything that you see on the table here before me, includes the latch assembly, the latch spring, the handle and the zinc-plated lever with spring, and also this semi-tubular rivet. Perfect fit! It took about 2 min to install. I diddnt have the tool to press the pin so I drilled a small hole and put in a cotter pin.

Ordered a trailer coupler repair kit for the Titan coupler. The kit is identical to the original, but zinc plated, which is a good thing because the original corroded away.

Perfect replacement for the latch on my 1995 Boat trailer. Took maybe 15 minutes to install, you do need a second person due to the spring to help pull up for the pin.

I needed a repair kit that looks like this but for a 2" ball. I could not find one anywhere. I was able to use the upper part of this new kit with the lower part from my old latch to make a good usable latch.

- How Does Repair Kit for Titan Couplers InstallFor the tubular and semi-tubular rivets like what comes with this kit you would need a rivet clincher tool available at hardware stores and some auto parts stores could have a selection as well. It will be a matter of putting the spring on the shaft pushing the shaft up from the underside of the coupler and then riveting the shaft to the latch with the included rivet. The hole in the shaft of the pin is for attaching it to the latch.
