  • How To Determine The Correct Axle Placement For A 16' Tandem Axle Trailer
I have attached a photo that shows how you determine where the centerline should be between your axles. When determining axle placement, an important factor to consider is the tongue weight. You want the tongue weight of the trailer to be approximately 10 % of the gross trailer weight. Moving the axles rearward will increase the tongue weight of the trailer, and placing the axles forward will decrease the tongue weight.

  • Replacement Master Cylinder for Titan Aero 6000 Surge Drum Brake Actuator Coupler
For a replacement master cylinder for your Titan Aero 6000 drum brake actuator you can use Master Cylinder part # T4395100. This comes with everything you will need to complete the install. (Please note that this item's description says it is for the Aero 7500, but it will also work for your Aero 6000). I linked our main page for all wheel cylinders where you can see such items from Titan, Demco and others. Click on your brake diameter to see appropriate parts and then select left and...

  • Are Replacement Master Cylinders for Titan Model 60 Drum Brake Actuator the Same Size
Yes, the Replacement Master Cylinder # T2336100042 is the same size as the master cylinder in the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly # T4395100. They are the exact same thing in regards to the master cylinder, with the only difference being one is just the master cylinder alone while the assembly includes the hardware, cap and cover. I found a parts list from Titan which details the part numbers of the cylinder and assembly, which are the accompanying photos. I have added a link to...

  • Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuator
I can tell you for sure that the correct replacement master cylinder assembly for a Model 60 (either Titan or Dico) brake actuator hitch is the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 and Aero 7500 Brake Actuators - Drum # T4395100. I researched and was unable to find a reference to a Dico 189 cylinder, but if you have a Model 60, you've found the right master cylinder. It sounds like you indeed will have to re-drill the bolt holes to install this replacement.

  • Replacement Actuator Recommendation For An Older Atwood 85736 Actuator
Since the Atwood 85736 has been discontinued for quite some time, we as a result, do not carry it's replacement parts, however I do have another alternative. I know it's not ideal, but since it's going to become harder and harder to find replacement parts, I recommend just upgrading your entire unit instead. A great option is the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout # T47457207K. This unit will let you back up without activating electric trailer brakes thanks to the electric...

  • Replacement Master Cylinder for Titan Model 60 Trailer Brake Actuating Coupler
The correct replacement master cylinder assembly for your Titan Model 60 drum brake actuator is part # T4395100 or if it's a disc brake actuator, use part # T4820000.

  • How To Find Correct Braking Assemblies for 1996 Load Rite 21T Trailer
The easiest way to find the correct replacement braking assemblies for a trailer will be by using the axle capacity which is typically printed onto a tag in the center of the beam. If one is not present you can measure the inside of the drum and count the mounting flange bolts. You'll also need to determine if you have electric or hydraulic and whether they are drum or disc. I have attached our entire trailer brake assembly selection below for you to choose from once you get the above...

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-117-47 are a perfect option for your 2019 Ford F-150 that is towing a relatively light trailer and they also are not going to require any type of maintenance. The SumoSprings are going to significantly improve the body roll you might otherwise experience and help to keep your truck level, which in turn is going to give you better handling of your F-150 and a more controlled towing experience overall. • Replacement Master Cylinder Kit for Dico Model 60 Coupler/Actuator and 10" Dexter Drum Assemblies
We had a customer install the Titan Model 60 master cylinder kit part # T4395100 on their Dico model 60 and although the bore was a little bigger they were able to make it fit. Then for Dexter 10 inch brake assemblies we have the part # 23-312-313 for a pair of left and right hand assemblies.

  • Replacement Actuator Recommendation for Discontinued Atwood 85738
Thank you for the photos! To replace your Atwood 85738 actuator I recommend checking out the Demco 7K actuator which comes configured for Drum Brakes # DM72VR as well as Disc Brakes # DM62VR and a 2" hitch ball. This system is a bolt on installation but an experienced welder would be able to cut off your current actuator and weld either one of these on in it's place.
