Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff from etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at these 12" long, 12-volt cool white LED replacement faults for T5 fluorescent lights, and it's for a quantity of two bulbs. Now, these are LED tube lights. It has 39 diodes that'll upgrade or replace your T5 fluorescent light bulbs. They provide a nice cool white light for your RV, marine, and automotive interior applications.
They are great for overhead, under cabinet, and high bay fixture applications. Now, it does include everything shown here on the table. It does include the two LED tube lights with the plugin connectors, the 18" long wiring harness, 30" long white ground wire, and the two wire nuts. Now, this slide is a directional design, so it does provide a 180-degree beam angle focus sliding. Now at the end of this video, I am going to plug this into some 12-volt power to show you that angle of lighting and also how bright the lights are. These lights do use high output LEDs.
They make great replacements for fluorescent lights. They are rated for up to 50,000 hours. They're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output. There's no bulbs to replace or ballast malfunctions. These bulbs are compatible with dimmable fixtures for simple adjustment of your light brightness.
They do use built-in surge protection to safeguard internal electronics. And the wiring harness on this is a non-polarized design, so it's easy installation with no wiring changes. Basically when you plug these into the lights, you'll have two wires here, a red and a black one, but it won't matter, because either wire can be used for either function. One's a power. One's a ground.A few specs on this.
It comes with two LED tube lights. They do replace the bulb type of T5 fluorescent lights. The length on these bulbs, if I put a ruler on it from one end to the other end, that's going to be right at 12" long. The light type is a cool light. The light temperature is 5,500 Kelvin. The light output is 520 lumens. We mentioned the 39 diodes. The wattage on them is 2.7 Watts. The power draw at 12-volts would be .23 amps. Now, these are designed to replace up to a 30-watt incandescent bulb. What I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and hook the power up. Oops. Let's first connect their wiring harness. The wiring harness on the center will have two-pin connectors. You just line it up with the light and it'll clip in. We'll do the same over here. With those connected then what I'm going to do is hook up our black and red wire, and as I mentioned, they're non-polarized so you can hook up either one to either one. Once I get that all hooked up, I'm going to go ahead and turn on our 12-volt power. With our 12-volt power on, we just turn the lights and you can see there's your cool white light, very bright white light. To give you an idea, I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And now you can see. I had mentioned the 180-degree beam angle, you can see as I rotate the light, half of the light is encased and the light is coming out the other half so it gives you the 180-degree beam angle. You can see the light of it is a cool white light. They're about 12" long. I'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. We'll go ahead and turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on the 12" long 12-volt cool white LED replacement bolts for the T5 fluorescent lights.

LED tube lights with 39 diodes upgrade or replace T5 fluorescent light bulbs to provide cool white light for RV, marine, and automotive interior applications. Compatible with dimmable fixtures. Built-in surge protection.Tried to follow instructions and also etrailer video and couldn’t figure out how to wire it to the fluorescent fixture. Even tried bypassing the fixture completely and just wiring directly to the wires coming into fluorescent fixture, and couldn’t get it to work. Was able to reconnect fluorescent fixture back to original configuration so I have light, but I couldn’t get this product to work so can’t comment on its function or durability.
Alex was professional and immediately provided the correct and accurate part number for my item. I was told earlier by another customer service person that etrailer didn't carry that product but I found it on website.
Etrailer would have lost this sale if I hadn't called back and assisted by Alex.
Great replacement for thinlights
Easy to install. Hardest part was removeing the Ballast cover (shinny metal thing behind light bulb). I ended up carefully cutting it open. As ours was machined-in. Folding it back into place when done.
Other then that. Identify the positive wire and make a connection. Identify the ground wire and make a connection.
Tube light harness came with factory installed quick connect terminals and two wire nuts.
arrived early perfect
awesome replacement for old florescent bulbs, my fixture wasn't working so i tried new bulbs but turns out it was the ballast or circuit board so thought i would have to replace the whole thing then i ran across these and gave them a try, easy to install and work great, very pleased and would recommend A+ P.S. fast shipping and communication
Easy install and bright
I bought some of these earlier so I knew what they were. They are simple and quick to install, and so far work well. These were to finish out the tubes in the airstream.
Perfect
Great and prompt service
