We have a domectic 320 and where having issues with the toilet not holding water anymore. Reached out to customer support at Etrailer and this was the suggested fix.

Excellent.

Fits per the original ball seal. I found it helpful to use a toilet seal lubricant to really get it to seal correctly.

The item came just a few days after I ordered it with a minimal amount of packaging, which I appreciate. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I replaced the old part with the new one in less than 5 minutes and it fixed the problem. Thanks.

by:

Dometic seal works great. I tried cheaper Chinese Knock-off but they did not seal. Dometic seal is pricey, but it works.

by:

  • Correct Replacement Flush Ball Seal for a Dometic 310 Series Toilet
A damaged seal is going to be the most likely to be the culprit of your leak and would just require a brand new seal Replacement Flush Ball Seal for Dometic RV Toilet # DOM63FR to fix. While you're down there it wouldn't hurt to check out the water valve to make sure there isn't any leaking, but it's highly likely that its just a damaged/worn seal.

  • My Dometic Toilet Will Not Hold Water Is The Bowl What Do I Do?
This is a known issue with some of these Dometic toilets here within the last year or so. The bowl seal may have a very slight deformity and it allows water to leak out. This will be covered under warranty thru Dometic. If the unit has not been used you can send it back and get a new unit. If it has been used/installed, obviously we could not accept a return, and Dometic would have you take it to one of their technicians for inspection/repair.

  • Vacuum Breaker Positioning On The Dometic 310 RV Toilet
The Vacuum Breaker # DOM95FR for the Dometic 310 Toilet # DOM57FR does not have to be perfectly vertical but you do want it mounted in upright as seen in the image below. • Is There A Better Way To Keep A Toilet Seal From Drying Out
Beyond the antifreeze and drain valve lubricant, there is not much else you can do to keep the seal from drying out. I know the climate in Colorado can be pretty dry, but have you checked to make sure you do not have any leaks? It seems like 3" of water should not be evaporating that fast. Our only suggestion is to double check that nothing is leaking, or possibly keep more water in the bowl.

If an RV toilet is emitting a bad smell that just means the gaskets are failing. You can replace the gasket between the floor and toilet with part # Q23653VP and the flush gasket that holds water in the bowl and prevents odors with part # DOM63FR.
