Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Dometic tie-down kit. This kit is going to provide the attachment points and straps that you need to secure your powered or traditional cooler wherever you choose to do so. You are going to get four of these heavy-duty straps. These straps are right at one inch wide, and I measured them just a moment ago, measured them out at about five feet long from one end of the strap to the end of the buckle.
So the strap portion is just shy of five feet, but overall width or Length is five feet. So you're going to get four of those. These do have the nice quick release buckle. So we'll be able to put the strap back through itself. Like so.
And then that is going to prevent it from coming back through. It's got those little teeth on there. So it's going to do a good job of ensuring that your strap stays in place to keep your cooler where you want it to be. But it is very easy to operate. Just that push lever there to release it. You're also going to get these low-profile tie-down anchor points.
These will mount to the storage compartment or the back of your truck bed, or wherever it is that you're wanting to store your cooler. These do include the hardware here. You can see we've got all four bolts, four nuts, and eight washers to bolt these down in place. So you're going to have a nice sturdy anchor point. And then these do have the strong alloy D rings that are going to fold up so that you can attach to run your strap along there and then fold down when you're not using them.
So they're nice and low-profile, stay out of your way. Still look really nice for you.So if you are looking for a way to secure your cooler, whether it's in your RV compartment or in the back of your truck bed or wherever it is that you're wanting to store that, I'd think this is going to be a great option for you. It's going to make it very easy to just hook onto your cooler through the straps or the handles on the sides. They do include instructions on where to mount these so that you're going to have the best angle so it's not sliding in any direction. It's going to stay right where you want it. So overall, I think these are going to be a great option for you if you are wanting to secure that cooler. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
