Perfect! Exact replacement. I’m sure what caused it to break originally was operator errorand cheap pot metal, so I installed the new mechanism and marked it for directional open and closed.

This was direct replacement for the original handle and mounting bolt for the Fantastic Fan in our 5th wheel bathroom. It was easy to install, I did put a drop of Loctite on the bolt threads to prevent it from coming loose. After a year of use there hasn’t been any problems.1386486

It was an exact replacement for the handle that knob that broke. (The far, threaded end had twisted and snapped.) Although I've sold that trailer, the new knob worked fine for the few months that I had it.1447052

Manuel lift control knob for Fan-Tastic vent fan was perfect fit. Looked at three different RV parts and sales centers during my last travels from Florida gulf to home in S. C. And no one had part listings in there systems. When settled back at home base I found etrailer.com found part within minutes few days later part arrived Installed it myself with no problems now my vent fan is Fan-Tastic again. 7/17 ordered, 7/19 shipped, 8/3 arrived, it installed okay and works like new, all good. The only thing that stopped the "excellent review as the shipping time part. Part shipped from Wentzville, MO to Oceanside CA by USPS, and we all know USPS has major issues for the past twenty years and recently they have been completely unreliable. I am not sure why businesses still use them, obviously the USPS distracts from the otherwise good service quality this particular company has.857630

The knob fit our fan perfectly. Given that the star-shaped base that turns the interior knob had cracked and stripped, a version of this knob with some metal in those parts would likely make it a bit more durable, but it's working well now.1287696

The replacement vent knob arrived in just a couple days, which was great since we were camping in hot FL. It was easy to change and the new one from etrailer worked perfect. The only issue was the shipping-USPS not UPS as stated by the sales person. It was held for us at the post office and easy to obtain with ID. Camp sites do not have mailboxes.1245941
