Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Easy Coupler Valve Cap with the Built-In Handle. This cap is made from a durable black plastic construction. It's going to feature the built-in seals to offer leak proof performance. It's going to fit onto a standard 3" valve. It's got the bayonet style fitting right there that allows for a really nice tight, secure connection. This caps going to feature the four hook design, so you place it onto a bayonet-style fitting, rotate it to interlock the hooks with the tabs, and that's going to secure the cap in place. It's also going to feature a 3/4" gray water drain connection.
That's this piece right here, it simply threads on. That's your connection point right there, again, 3/4" gray water drain connection. The fitting right there, inside the cap, also is going to have an internal built in seal for leak proof performance. Once that is on there you don't have to worry about anything spilling out, or seeping out. It's got the convenient easy grip handle, it makes placing on, and taking off the cap quick and easy. It's going to come with the appropriate tethers to prevent you from misplacing or losing the cap, or the 3/4" cap right there for your gray water connection point. My husband is 87 and has lost strength in his hands. This item should be on All RVs from the factory. Easy to remove and replace. The one that came with our motorhome is the generic one that everyone has. We had to purchase an air cleaner wrench that a semi truck driver would use in order to get it off. Now with just a twist on the handle this EZ coupler cap comes off and back on easy. Thankyou for the design of this! Why it isn’t on ALL RV’s is a good question. Shipping was quick. Thanks again for a GREAT product for my older guy!
Nice replacement for a factory waste valve cap. I really like the handle as it helps with removal/installation

Handle is great, tabs break off just as easy as the factory ones. I guess having 4 buys me more time but the tabs are already breaking off after one season of use. Update star rating to 3 not 5

Perfect fit. The handles make it much easier to remove the caps. The handle also keeps your hand out of the way in the event there is a “surprise” behind the cap. Highly recommend.
This coupler cap is an upgrade of what came with our travel trailer. Much easier to manage, more useful, and a safer product. Best of all--never have to touch the rim of the cap touching the black tank outlet. Thank you!

Much better design for end cap. Easy to remove.
So easy to use No need to use a tool to remove With mild arthritis, I used to really struggle with the original caps, but these are no problem at all

Wish I had this thing years ago. Even lubricating the standard valve it is still very hard to turn. The handled one is genius. SO easy to turn. Get one for your trailer!
Great purchase due to the grab handle. Easier to twist on and off. Will buy again if the cap ever breaks for any reason

EZ Coupler Cap for RV is handy. Since the old one is laying along the highway some where between here and no where. Good fit seems to be liquid tight even when I tested it with the gray water valve open over night to see if it would work. It passed that test with flying colors.
etrailer is awesome. I always know I am going to get a super high quality product when I order from them. This lowly sewer cap was no exception. It's PERFECT and it fits "right & tight" just like I hoped it would. My old cap had only a two prong connection and the interior gasket had become brittle. Consequently, there was the occasional dreaded drip. NO one tolerates a dripping sewer cap in any RV park. It's a major no-no. This cap is not going to drip. I love the handle so I don't have to grab the back part of the cap to get it off. I also like that I can wipe the handle clean after each use. I love the fact the 3/4 inch hose cap has a dongle. Now I don't have to worry about driving off and forgetting the hose cap. This is a superb product in every way. etrailer's processing of the order was exemplary as usual. Their package tracking is the best. I received the cap a day earlier than the projected delivery. Just another 5 Star Etrailer order! WE LOVE etrailer and we are NOT being compensated for this review in any way, shape or form.

I bought three replacement valve caps with handles, two for my dads trailer, one for mine. Dad is 75 and doesn’t have the hand strength he once had. I have broken my hand and wrist more than once, and can not get a good grip on the standard caps. These caps with handles have made the world of difference! Highly recommend etrailer! Excellent customer service and lightning fast processing and shipping!
Who decides on size of box for shipping and do you train them on securing product for shipment? I ordered two wiper blades, two heater door clips, sewer flush king and sewer cap. They were shipped in a huge box (21"x26"). So big that the flush king came out of its packaging from being tossed around inside the box. I'm sure everything was bounced around the entire trip to my door cause there was only one small strip of filler for cushion and the box was crushed onretailer. It could have been shipped in a box half that size. I'm actually not expecting my flush king to stay together long. Disappointed in the shipping package. I guess you take your chances. I never expected this from etrailer.

So much easier to grab the handle than try to turn a cap. Great invention.
Works well after one year of use.
Use this on our Galley tank. Cheaper caps with only 2 lugs would fail within a year. Expect this to last the life of the trailer.
So easy now to remove and install the cap. Before purchasing this style cap, there were times I would need to use a tool/wrench to remove the original cap.
I love having a handle on the cap - it makes it so much easier to align and twist the cap. It deals well. I highly recommend this style.

The EZ coupler cap for our RV is still working as great as it did from the “get go”! Thanks again for a great product that makes it much easier and simpler for an older couple to dump the waste water on an RV. The handle is a great design!
