Use this 17-rpm auto-lift motor to replace the damaged one in a Fan-Tastic Vent B Series roof vent with a powered lift arm.

Note: This replacement motor is designed for use in Fan-Tastic Vent roof vents with 17-rpm motors manufactured in 2014 or after. If your fan is of a lower rpm or manufactured before 2014, this motor will still work, but you will need to cross the wires. For example, instead of red to red and black to black, you will need to connect the red wire to the black wire and the the black wire to the red wire.

Use this 17-rpm auto-lift motor to replace the damaged one in a Fan-Tastic Vent B Series roof vent with a powered lift arm.It works perfectly in my 2006 Newmar Essex 4508 Coach. It was easy to install. My order lift motor was a lower rpm the new one was 17 rpm and it opens faster. I’m very happy with this lift motor and etrailer did an outstanding job.
Had to change knob the one it would not clear the side on my fan
Jenny N - 11/30/2021I purchased this motor to replace one that was jammed by rust. When the original motor failed, it rendered the bathroom vent useless mid trip. A usual with etrailer, the motor is an exact match for the part that failed. It arrived quickly and was extremely easy to install. The vent operates normally now, much to our relief. I will definitely continue to use and recommend etrailer.

I received a message from etrailer after my order pointing out due to no stock on this item it will take 2 weeks to receive. They suggested changing white color to off white and I would receive in 3 days. Bought this to replace OEM motor because 12 y/o plastic mounting tab broke off requiring us to push up on housing and hold to engage motor shaft to vent lid whenever we wanted to start or stop the fan. The 7 RPM motor was still good but painfully slow. This 17 RPM motor is much faster. Contrary to some previous reviews the red and black wires did not have to be reversed. Also, the shaft cannot be disengaged by pulling down on the handle.

good replacement. The weak point in the motor seems to be the attachment of the drive sleeve over the fan lid actuator. This appears to have a tighter tolerance at the attach point.
Nice tight connection with the lift arm. Works smoothly and quietly.
Arrived quicker than I expected and packaging was adequate to protect contents. I'll be back.
Motor is working great so far & much quieter than the one that came with our RV.
