Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Firestone 100 to 150 PSI pressure switch for the Firestone air helper spring suspension systems. Now, this replacement pressure switch is designed to operate your air helper springs at the correct pressure level. Basically, it'll turn your compressor on at 100 PSI, turns it off at 150 PSI. And just to show you, there is a sticker on here that shows you on and off and the PSI it works at.
This switch includes one threaded male 1/8-inch NPT connection for mounting. NPT stands for National Pipe Thread. That's the standard size that's threaded into your air tank. Basically, this switch will screw into that fitting on your air tank and it connects your air compressor, or one is, one end connects, one wire will connect to your air compressor. The other wire will connect to your pressure gauge on your control panel.
