Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Front Runner 40 inch long Mixed Beam LED Light Bar with the Lens Shield and the Mounting Brackets. Now, this LED light bar will produce a nice daylight white mixed beam, which is ideal for off-road driving. It offers a combination spot and flood beam, which will increase visibility in front of you and off to both sides. It is designed to mount to the front or the underside of your platform rack, using the included mounting brackets right here.
Now, we did mention this has a lens shield on it. It is adjustable. You can see it's open now. You can actually close it, and if you close it, it'll protect the light bar from any flying debris when it's not in use. And then you just rotate it down, and then you can use the light bar.
This part will include everything shown here on the table. It'll include the FX 1000 CB light bar with the different mounting brackets. They offer you both the under rack, which I've got attached here, or the front mount mounting brackets, and the hardwood install it. These brackets here is what'll come with the light bar just by themselves. And then it comes with a nice set of instructions that shows you how this all goes together.
Now, this uses 40 Osram LEDs, which provide 8,000 lumens of light. And I do have this hooked up to in 12 volt power to show you how bright that is. So we're gonna go ahead and turn on the power. And with the power on, you can see the light come on. I'll go ahead and turn off.
And you can see how bright it is. I'm gonna sort of shine it down. We mentioned the 40 LEDs. It does give you a beam distance of about 2083 feet. And it does offer a thermal management system, which prevents the LEDs from overheating and has auto off polarity protection. Protects the LEDs from reverse polarity and excess voltage. You can see how bright it is. We'll go ahead and turn back on Our overhead lights, turn off our power. The housing it's in is a nice durable aluminum housing. Has a nice, impact resistant polycarbonate lens on it. And this is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. Now, it does come with, I'm gonna disconnect it here, just to show you the connection. It does come with this nice, quick connector right here that has a two wire pigtail for a hard wire install. Once you wire that in, then you'll be able to just plug it right in for a quick connection, and then unplug it if you need to disconnect it. All the white bar, the mounting brackets, have a nice black powder coat to them. The lens shield is a aluminum lens shield, and it also has a black powder coat on it. Helps resist corrosion. We did mention the specs, 8000 lumens. Color temperature is 6000 kelvin, for a daylight white light. And the wattage is 140 watts, 12 amps. Last thing I wanna do is give you the dimension with these brackets installed. We'll do the length, the depth, and the height. So the length on this, overall length is gonna be right at about 44 inches long. The depth, if I close this up, and we measure the total depth on it with the lens shield, is gonna be right about three and three quarter inches. And the overall height is right at about two and a half inches tall. But again, you just lower your shield, turn on your light. And if you're not using it, you wanna protect it, you just put that shield up there to protect it. But that should do it for the review on the Front Runner 40 inch long Mixed Beam LED Light Bar with the Lens Shield and the Mounting Brackets.
