  • Heat Strip For Furrion Single Zone Air Conditioner
The Furrion Heat Strip # FR27PR is the one your need for a Furrion AC with the single zone thermostat. This kit will include the heat strip as well as a new controller to work with your air conditioner. It can be used with both single zone and multi zone units. The Furrion Heat Strip # FR35SR can only be used with manually controlled Furrion Air Distribution Boxes.

  • Replacement 15K AC Units for Dometic Penguin AC Units
The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR67FJ is one of our top of the line systems and would be a great replacement for your older Dometic Penguins. It has an industry leading 60 decibel sound from inside the RV which is quieter than a vacuum cleaner. You can add the Furrion Heat Strip Add-On item # FR27PR but you would not be able to run your furnace off of the included Furrion thermostat. You would need to keep a separate thermostat. The Furrion kit item # FR67FJ and...

  • Parts Needed To Add A Heat Strip To A Furrion AC Unit Wired To A Dometic AC System
Furrion units, like the # FR86PR, all have built-in start capacitors to store energy and help start up the unit each time. The heat strips Furrion offers would require a Furrion controller, air distribution box, and wall thermostat (non-manual models) to install. If you have a single zone unit you would need the following components: Furrion Heat Strip Add-On for Furrion Air Conditioner - Manual # FR35SR Replacement Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioners - Manual...

  • Replacement AC Unit and RV Air Conditioning System for a 2002 Roadmaster Monaco
I can definitely help you replace the AC units on your Duo Therm model # 630035.321 system. However, none of the units we currently offer come with heat pumps. To replace just the rooftop units you'll want the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup item # FR42PV. This is going to plug into the wiring you have now and would allow you to keep your current thermostat to control it. If you're needing to replace the entire system, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE...

  • Replacement Air Conditioner For Coleman MACH 15
The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR32PV will replace your current Coleman MACH ac. It includes the necessary wiring and hardware to secure in place of the rooftop unit. This is necessary otherwise it would not run correctly. By just replacing the single unit and not the entire system it saves you the additional cost of the parts. The Furrion units are a great option as we have found them to be quieter and cool more efficiently than many other brands....

  • How Can I Tell If I Have A Manually Controlled Distribution Box Or Not?
A manually controlled distribution box has the controls built into the distribution box (ceiling register) itself. An example of this is part # FACT11MA-PS. The best way to know what you have is to look at how your air conditioner is controlled. If you have to reach up above your head to turn the air on and off, you have a manually controlled distribution box. Otherwise, it will be electrically controlled by a wall thermostat, like part # FACT12SA-PS. I see that you were looking at the...

None of the units we currently offer come with heat pumps so we'd be able to replace the rooftop units or the entire system so that your trailer can be nice an cool, but we don't have a heat pump option. To replace just the rooftop units you'll need the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup # FR26PR and possibly an adapter # ACCOLKIT if your current unit has a 9-pin connector. If you're wanting to replace the entire system then you'll need the Furrion...

  • When Replacing Dometic AC With Furrion 15K Will I Need Additional Parts?
The Furrion Chill HE # FR42PV is just going to be a replacement rooftop unit only. Since you have a heat strip which has failed you might consider switching to the Furrion AC System # FR55PV and their Heat Strip # FR27PR. This would make everything compatible without having to ensure you find the correct Dometic heat strip.

  • Can You Run An AC Unit With A Heat Strip And Another Unit With A Heat Pump On The Same System
You would not be able to control both the heat pump and heat strip with one thermostat. The thermostat is only going to work with one or the other depending on how you have the Dip switches set. The only way to have a heating option in the rear would be to completely replace the system in the back and have two separate systems/thermostats or to switch out both systems with a dual system like the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR67FJ or # FR84FJ and add in heat strips # FR27PR....

  • Can A Heat Strip Be Added To A Furrion AC Unit Connected To A Dometic AC System
There are heat strip options for the Furrion Chill HE # FR58PR, but they would require replacing the controller and air distribution box/ thermostat of your Dometic system. This can be done with either the Furrion Heat Strip - Manual # FR35SR and Air Distribution Box # FR28PR or Furrion Heat Strip - Electric # FR27PR, Air Distribution Box # FR57PR, and Premium Wall Thermostat # FR33PR.

  • Recommended RV AC System For A 8.5 x 28 Enclosed Trailer
For your 8.5' x 28' enclosed trailer I recommend the Furrion Chill Basic RV Air Conditioner System # FR88PR These units have an optional Heat Strip, # FR35SR for the # FR92PR and # FR27PR for the # FR55PV. I do want to not that heat strips and heat pumps are not really designed to fully heat a trailer and are more just to help in chilly weather. If you plan on camping in cold weather you would want to install a furnace as well. The rooftop condenser units are quite heavy so you will...

  • Recommended Replacement AC System For A Monaco Signature Class A Motorhome
If you're trying to only replace the condenser units (rooftop unit) then you can easily swap out the old ones with # FR58PR if you have a 6-pin connector or the # FR42PV if you have a 9-pin connector. The connector I'm referring to is a wiring harness that runs from the condenser to the controller and looks like what I have pictured below. In this scenario you would still use your current air distribution boxes and thermostats to control the units. It's a lot easier to do but you would...

  • Can Heat Strips Be Added to a Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System to Replace a Furnace
Yes, you could use heat strips with your A/C as an alternate heating method to a furnace. To be honest, you probably will not get the same heat output as the furnace, but it is something that can be done and is not uncommon. You can add the Furrion Heat Strip Add-On for Furrion Air Conditioner # FR27PR to each of the A/C's in the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR24FJ.

The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner # ACCAR135 along with all the other air conditioners we currently have do not have a heat pump. Since the Carrier AC's are virtually obsolete on campers you might want to consider switching to the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR67FJ which will give you 2 AC and a central thermostat. Yes, it is! The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR24FJ is going to be a solid upgrade for your Thor Fourwinds. This system comes with distribution boxes but you can hook one of them up to a ducted system if your Thor has ductwork. The dual 15,000 btu ac units are controlled by a single thermostat so you will need to do some rewiring. You will want to check your power supply as well. These units only pull 15.4 amps while running but you will need at least two 20 amp circuit...
