If you want to expand your solar setup to collect more sunlight and charge your batteries faster, this solar panel expansion will add more amperage to your charging output. This kit includes a single 190-watt solar panel with mounting hardware that connects to your existing Go Power system using the included MC4 branch connectors.

High-Efficiency, Monocrystalline Solar Panel

solar cells

The silicon cells are set between a cushioned backing material and tempered solar glass to withstand the elements. The glass has low-iron content to provide exceptional transparency, which ensures maximum sunlight collection. The panel is framed with anodized marine-grade aluminum to resist rust and corrosion. And in optimal sunlight conditions, the panel produces 190 watts per hour.

Easy Connection to Go Power Solar Charging Systems

mc4 connectors

This kit is compatible with several Go Power Solar Charging Systems (sold separately). However, the total amount of amps generated by the panels cannot exceed your solar controller's maximum amperage. The solar panel installs anywhere on your RV roof with included mounting feet and hardware. To maximize sunlight collection, it is important to install the panel where it avoids shadows cast by objects, like an air conditioner or vent. The panel is wired in parallel to another panel using MC4 branch connectors.

by:

We added this panel as a 5th panel to our Go Power AE-4 solar kit to help maximize the solar window during the day. It was a perfect addition!

by:

The go power 190 solar panel came fast.

by:

Perfect for what I needed. With the addition of 1 more panel I can stay out as long as I want with no electricity problem.

by:

Hooked up this solar panel to the existing panel on my truck camper. Installation was very straight forward.I dry camp 95% of the time and it was really nice to have fully charged batteries every day even in December in Montana. Would highly recommend.

by:

Great product and delivered as promised! Easy install on our new Thor KM 24 class C motorhome.

by:

Installed a 9 panel array on a customers Pinnacle 5th Wheel. Extreme is not a strong enough word for this setup. Wished we had known all the "extra" little parts we were going to need when we made the rather large purchase(s) from etrailer for this job. Needed higher output controllers based on the amount of solar panels we were using, still need a few more batteries. Overall, we hope our customer will be quite pleased with his extreme setup and has many hours of boondocking in his future.

by:

Solar panel arrived on time but sadly was missing all the hardware needed for installation. Customer service apologetic and is working to resolve the issue.

by:

I love this kit and it is used to keep the coach battery charged and topped off. The panels are installed on the roof (second panel purchased). I also like the Bluetooth monitoring system that hooks to my cell phone. When I'm dry docking, it charges the battery back up after a night of running the Furnas (gas).

by:

Installed the expansion kit myself using the video instructions as a guide. Tested the panel and determined it is out preforming the panel that came with the Outlander Kit. I am a very happy camper.

by:

Added it as my third panel on the roof of my toy hauler. It works great, the added power is amazing. The only down fall is that the cables are to short to connect all 3 panels, so I ordered the 10' extension cables and everything was plug & play. Went together easy and works great.
Put everything together with 4 Lion energy lithium batteries and a Go Power 2000 watt Inverter. Batteries never come off 100%

by:

works excellent. Should come with longer cables however.

by: 06/02/2021

Great Solar Panel kit. Comes with all you need to add a second panel to your RV or Trailer.

by:

Great price and tops on customer service. UPS first lost the packages. Delivered to neighbor. One panel was damaged and etrailer quickly replaced it. Replacement panel arrived today (quick shipment) and in good shape.

Could not ask for better support.

by:

great prices and fast shipping

by:

Have not installed it yet.

  • Can I Safely Use Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit With Go Power Weekender System 220W Solar Panel
I contacted Go Power and you can safely use the Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit part # 34282182 with your Go Power Weekender system with 220W solar panel with 30A controller. There is not a 220W panel expansion kit available because it is not recommended.

  • Can 200 Watt Solar Panel be Added to System
Solar panels are designed to work with specific systems, and they can be added so long as you have a certain set-up. • How Many 190 Watt Panels Can be Used with 30 Amp Controller of RV Solar Panel Setup
Yes you'd easily be safe to add another Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit # 34282182 to your GoPower setup that has a 30 amp controller. You'd be close to the max amperage but you'd be under the 30 amps pretty easily even if they were at peak, but even if you did go over the controller's amperage rating it wouldn't have an issue as nothing would happen.

  • Can I Expand my Solar system on my Travel Trailer?
Yes it is very possible to expand the solar capabilities of your system with the Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit - 190 Watt Solar Panel part # 34282182 as long as your solar controller is rated for the input. With your 160 watt panels you get about 8.68 amp hours from it with a 190 you will get about 10.3 amp hours for a total of both panels at about 18.98 amp hours. Look on your solar controller and as long as it is rated for 20 amps or higher it will work out perfectly for you.

  • How Much Solar Power do I Need for my Camper for Boondocking
It really is going to depend on the demands you put on your battery. The 125 amp hour capacity of your battery is a great storage solution so your goal will be to put back into the battery what you are taking out of it. Take the Go Power Weekender ISW RV Solar Charging System part # 34282183 it replenishes about 9.3 amps per hour for total of about 55.8 amp hours per day. Using 55 amp hours in a day would be low to moderate use of your appliances. If your demands were greater than that...
