The SolarFlex Eclipse expansion kit comes with everything you need to increase the power output of your Go Power solar charging system. The 190-watt flexible panel uses MC4 connections and provides DC power to charge your RV's batteries.
Features:
Specs:
If you want to expand your solar setup to collect more sunlight and charge your batteries faster, this solar panel expansion will add more amperage to your charging output. This kit includes a single, flexible 190-watt solar panel with mounting hardware that connects to your existing Go Power system using the included MC4 branch connectors.
The flexible panel includes silicon cells that are set between a laminated backsheet to withstand the elements. The panel is low profile and bends up to 30 degrees to suit the shape of your RV's roof, making them more aerodynamic than traditional solar panels. And in optimal sunlight conditions, the panel produces 190 watts per hour.
This kit is compatible with several Go Power Solar Charging Systems (sold separately). However, the total amount of amps generated by the panels cannot exceed your solar controller's maximum amperage. The solar panel installs anywhere on your RV roof with included mounting feet and hardware. To maximize sunlight collection, it is important to install the panel where it avoids shadows cast by objects, like an air conditioner or vent. The panel is wired in parallel to another panel using MC4 branch connectors.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Go Power Solar Flex Eclipse Expansion Kit. This is a 190 watt mono crystalline solar panel that's going to connect to your existing Go Power Solar Charging System using the MC4 branch connectors and it's going to add another panel to help provide more power to charge your RV's 12 volt or 24 volt system. This is rated for 190 watts. It's gonna give about 9.8 amps and as you can see, it is going to be a low profile flexible solar panel. So if you already have the Solar Flex Eclipse set up, you can add this in, it's just gonna act just like the original, bends up to 30 degrees to accommodate the shape of your application.
So if you have a tear drop RV or something like that, where you're wanting to mount this to the roof, it's going to give you that flexibility that you need. It is 56 inches long, 27 and a quarter of an inch wide and only about one eighth of an inch thick. It's just over eight pounds, so very lightweight, easy to work with. On the backside, it does have this durable laminated back sheet that's gonna withstand water, vapor and dirt to make it a very durable panel. This kit is going to include this solar panel, the MC4 branch connectors that are just gonna plug into the connectors on your solar panel and then into your system that you already have.
You're also going to get the installation hardware and instructions so that you can get this all installed properly. If you do need to extend your MC4 cables, we do have extensions available here at etrailer.com that will help make that a little bit easier for you so that you can run from one solar panel to the other if they are pretty far apart. But overall, very simple to get this mounted and add to your solar panel set up so that you can get those batteries charged faster and that sort of thing. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watching..
