Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement stress guard rear turnbuckle for the HappiJac original turnbuckle set and it has the 24 inch threaded hook. Now this replaces a damaged stress guard rear turnbuckle on your HappiJac turnbuckle set. A turnbuckle is basically used to secure the camper to your truck. One hook will attach to your camper and the other end will attach to the anchor point that's provided on your truck's tie-down system.

The threaded hook does install just like that. You screw it in there, get it to the right length you need and then tighten it down with this jam nut. When you do install this, you always want to install this with the threaded hook facing up.Now this is a rear turnbuckle. It is different from front turnbuckles. The rear turnbuckle should never be used on the front of the camper.

This part will include the one turnbuckle with the 24 inch threaded hook, the half inch size hex nut, and the one eight inch barrel. These parts are made in the USA, but again, just to show you what you end up doing is threading this in and after you do your measurements, which will be in the instructions of how to measure to get you the correct length. Once you get it to that, run this nut down and lock it into place. As I mentioned, the threaded hook have always be hooked to the camper end and this end will always hook to the truck's tie-down system, but that should do it for the review on the replacement stress guard rear turnbuckle for the HappiJac original turnbuckle set with this 24 inch threaded hook.
