Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the upgrade kit for your HappiJac truck camper jack system. This is going to allow you to upgrade your manual HappiJac truck camper jack system to an electric jack system, so that you're no longer having to go around and manually crank each jack individually to try and level out your camper. It's going to give you access to all four of your jacks in one remote so you're not having to walk around, and it's going to be a lot less expensive for you than upgrading to a whole new system. You can simply reuse the jacks you already have, and add these motors onto them to get that convenience. This kit is compatible with camper jack systems 4220, which is the 34 1/2 inch lift and 4820, which is the 36 1/2 inch lifts. So if you have either one of those, these are going to work for you.
This kit does include four of these clutchless motor heads which mount onto your jacks, as well as the installation hardware to get them mounted. You're also going to get the logic board to control everything, and the controller which, obviously, connects to the logic board, and sends the signal to your motor heads here. Now, keep in mind this kit is designed for campers that already are equipped with the electric jack option so it's not going to include any sort of wiring to get the signal from the logic board to the motor heads. It's assuming that you already have that wiring on your camper. If you don't, you can find the wiring here at etrailer.com using part number LC182524. Or, if you want, you can purchase the whole kit.
Everything you see here plus the wiring using a combination of the part numbers, so it'd be LC733960-182524.Our remote is going to give us the option to control each jack individually, or our left and right sides. It's going to make it a lot more convenient for us to get it all leveled out. And it is wireless, but they've included this cord here so that, if we need to, we can plug it into our logic board directly. The system is made here in the USA, so you can trust that it's going to have high quality standards. It's not going to fall apart on you. It's going to do the job and do it well. That's going to complete our look at the upgrade kit for your HappiJac truck camper jack system..

Replaces the clutchless motor heads, circuit board, and remote for your HappiJac electric truck camper jack system (LC736514-ELKIT or LC736515-ELKIT).first, I gave it four stars because it works as advertised. A few notes however, it took 3 months to arrive because it out of stock. Not much you can do about that. The motors fit right on my Happy jac 4200. I have a 2019 Lance 650 that is prewired. Here is the rub. The wire that comes with the new motors is not compatible with the insert on the camper. (I posted a picture) no one knew what to do so I spent hours online trying figure this out. finally, I found a part that works, also the wiring that goes to the circuit board also needed to be changed. I have finished and it is all working now. My point is this system in a good one but may not just plug in.
The HappiJac motors work very well. They definitely help to make the camper setup / take-down so much faster than manual control of the jacks because all four jacks can be moved by the motors at the same time using the HappiJac remote control.
For those with a 3D-printer, you can make a remote control holder to keep the remote control handy by the RV-camper entrance door:
I got excellent service in choosing the proper replacement for my old Happijac replacement motor.
It was shipped fast and works perfectly…
Thanks Jamie..
I am replacing the old style motors that are no longer available. These new motors have a wider body and they hit the side of my camper, They did fit the jack legs, but needed to be spaced out for more clearance. I bought 2, 3/16"x3"x3' cold rolled flat bar. Cut 4 pieces at 16" measured and drilled the holes to mount the jacks out about 1 1/4". I used the short drop off pieces for the lower brackets on the rear legs. primed and painted them with several coats of paint. Installed them. Replaced the control module. They work great. It took some time making the extender brackets, but it was worth it in the end. The total extra price for the steel, bolts, and paint was $xxx. at The Home Depot store.
I just received these and cant wait to replace my old tired motors. one of which has failed.
Received the Happijac Electric Jack System yesterday and installed it today on our pop-up truck camper to convert from our manual crank system. The install took a few hours (as expected) but the outcome was perfect. Exactly what we were hoping for. We have purchased numerous things from E-Trailer over the years and have ALWAYS received excellent service and quality products.
It is a good set up no water will get in
Great product fits perfect on my Artic Fox 1150 Install was easy Love the wireless control
