How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the replacement lever and anti-rattle bolt for Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE bike carriers. The part we're looking at is the direct replacement for the OEM Anti-Rattle Device Bolt and Lever. As you can see here on our demonstration unit that we keep in the studio, it's been around the block a little bit, it's getting a little bit of corroded and it's missing a cap. So I'm gonna show you how to switch it out for the new part. We're gonna start by removing the handle from the bolt and you just simply unscrew it and then remove the lock washer and washer. And on the other end of the receiver, you should be able to feed it out.
And from here you are gonna do the same thing in reverse. We're gonna just remove this protective cap, our new handle, and our flat washer and lock washer, and feed it back through the receiver opening. Gonna catch it on this side, we're gonna put our new lock washer and flat washer in position, and now we're just gonna fasten down our new handle. Wouldn't be the worst idea to spray some lubricant along the bolt just to make sure that everything stays nice and smooth when you're tightening down your anti-rattle device. And once you get this reattached, you are ready to go.
