Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Right Side Wheel Holder for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider and RV Rider Tray Style Bike Racks. Now, this part will replace one of the right side wheel holders on your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider or RV Rider Bike Carrier. It is designed to fit the model numbers HR1450Z-W and the HR1670, both of those bike racks we do sell separately on our website. This will include the ratcheting wheel strap right here, and also the adjustment knob right on the end here. This is a nice matte black powder coat finish to prevent rust and corrosion.

But basically, what this wheel holder does, this arm right here will slide along the horizontal rack arm, you can see this square opening here, this'll slide on that horizontal arm on the bike rack, and let you have fit bikes of varying lengths on your bike rack. Basically, all you do is loosen this adjustment knob right here, slide it on to that horizontal arm, and then once you get it in the correct position for the bike to sit in there correctly, then you just tighten this knob down, and it'll hold the bike at the correct length. Now, with your ratcheting strap removed, when you install your bike, you can put your bike wheel right in here, once the wheel goes into place, what you'll do is take this ratcheting strap, run the strap through the wheel, and then just insert it to the ratchet clip on the other side, and again, you can see, you just pull it as tight as you can to hold that bike wheel into place. And you do wanna make sure that this rubber protector, you can see right here, this thing will slide up or down, this rubber protector, you want this to go up against your wheel, so when you do tighten it, that it doesn't cause any damage to your wheel. Now, the inside dimension, this is the wheel holder, so your tire will fit in there, the inside dimension on this is gonna be, as you can see, right at three inches, so up to a three inch wide tire this will work with.

And again, just to release it, you push this, you can pull it right out, just like that, and then to install it, just stick the ratchet strap through it, and push it all the way, and then pull it as tight as you need it.
