Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This lock has a shear strength of 42,000 lbs
Installation
2 long pins are used to secure your ball mount platform to your B&W Tow & Stow 10K or 14.5K adjustable ball mount. The additional long pin is used to secure your ball to your ball mount platform.

These "Lockable" pins are Fantastic! Even though I know nobody can steel my Hitch they could have stolen one, if not all, of the adjustable and ball pin(s) just out of spite. Now my hitch is totally secured. I Highly Recommend them for this type of Hitch. It

I always worry about someone removing the cotter pins and taking my hitch. These are all keyed the same so no pins to pull.
