Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the mini switch. This is going to be a rocker switch that allows you to use a double pole double throw switch. So basically what that means is that it's going to take two signals and transfer them from one path to another. So it can turn two items from low to high or allow you to run something in or out. It can have a lot of different uses.A lot of these are going to be used on an RV, so let's take a closer look at it and see how it's going to work. So you can see we'll have our connections at the back there, so we'll be able to connect to our lighting or any accessory that we might want to hook up to this.

It's going to again, be a double pole double throw. As far as the power applications with this, for AC power it's rated for 13 amps at 125 volts or 10 amps at 250 volts. It can handle half a horsepower at two . Or excuse me, 125 up to 250 volts AC or five amps at 14 volts DC. As far as size, overall, it's about 5/8 of an inch by about 7/8 of an inch, 5/8, 7/8.The cutout that this will fit into needs to be at least an inch ...

Or excuse me, 3/4 of an inch. The little tie-ins on either side will kind of spring out and help to hold the tension, so between 3/4 and 7/8 is about what this will fit. Width wise, it's about 1/2 an inch, maybe slightly more, but just barely. Overall length or depth, it's about an inch. The actual surface depth is about 3/4 ...
