Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR-Products metal vent crank. This is your replacement for a worn out or broken vent crank. This is going to have a three-fourths of an inch long shaft there. See, not quite an inch as it's advertised. Our total length is going to be right about 2 inches once you have this mounted, go from the center of that top hole there, and need about, we'll call it one and a quarter inch clearance to get it around.
And your handle itself is going to be right about three-quarters of an inch, enough for you to grab onto easily to turn your vent and get it cranked open. This is made of a metal alloy, so it's going to hold up very well for you. The kit does come with the vent crank as well as a seven-eighths inch long replacement screw. And this is made here in the USA, and it comes with a lifetime warranty from JR-Products. That's going to complete our look at the JR-Products metal vent crank..

It was great dealing with etrailer. The product I ordered was a ceiling vent handle for my horse trailer. It fit perfectly, looks great and works great. - Radius of Metal Crank Handle for RV Vents # 37220305The radius of the handle part # 37220305 that you referenced is 1-3/4 inches. This means that you'd need 1-3/4 inches of clearance around the crank post you have now for this to function.
