Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with each etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement plastic check valve. This is going to replace a worn or damaged valve on your RV. This does have a spring loaded closure in there. So, it's going to allow water to flow through when it's coming in this direction. But then as soon as that water pressure stops, it's going to spring that closure back in place.

And so that water will not be able to flow the other direction. This will work with your typical water inlets. This outer threading here is your standard female hose fitting. So, you can use a garden hose or something like that. On the other side, that's going to be hooked into your system is a half inch MPT or mill pipe thread.

So, that should go into your standard system. That's pretty typical for most of your RV plumbings, and those sort of things.This is a UV and impact resistant plastic. So it should hold up well, do a good job for you. It does come with the cap there to make sure that dirt and debris is going to stay out of there. Don't have to worry about anything flowing in when you have that closed.

This will also resist road salts and acids. So again, very durable, should hold up well for you. It does meet the NSF 61 standards. So should do a good job, trust it's high quality, meeting those standards. It's going to do a good job for you.

You can see it is a black color, so it should match the black fittings in your RV. Just integrate in and make it look like it's part of the original setup for you.
