Corrosion-resistant union fitting lets you connect 2 hydraulic brake lines. Each 3/16" female inverted flare has deep threads that help prevent leaks.

This corrosion-resistant brass fitting has deeper threads than many other fittings on the market to provide a higher thread engagement. Deeper threads offer an advantage when used with fittings that have the same thread depth. This Kodiak fitting will work with most fittings on the market, but when it's used with another Kodiak fitting, the result is a stronger connection with fewer leaks.

I have a 2001- 38 foot toy hauler fifth wheel. the brakes on it where not the best, I found them to be slow in responding and always having trouble with magnets, and shoes don't last long, I converted it over to Kodiak disk brakes. The straight line did not work well on the drop axles because of the flex of axle over ruff roads. The 90 degree brake hose when put in right place worked like a dream. The straight line I have are being used in the line from pump to the axles. sorry don't have pictures. So all in all love the parts. Thank you very much. PS: sorry it took so long to reply

I used it to connect a hard brake line to a flexible brake line for a swing-away trailer tongue. No problems. It could have used a mounting tab of some sort.

The brake hoses delivered in lieu of the ones ordered worked perfectly. The ones ordered were out of stock and one of the reps found a replacement, worked out perfect for me.

I was very grateful for the product knowledge of my specialist KEVIN D.
My rep resolved MY issues with extreme confidence.

A small problem arose with the brake line being male on both ends and he instantly added a female union to my order to resolve the problem.
I did need my parts in a hurry, all tho the over night freight was more than my order total...

- Correct 24" Brake Hose for Dexter Surge Brake ActuatorThe Dexter Brake Actuators use a 3/16" fitting so you'd need a brake line like the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Hose part # bh-3mfs-2 which could then be joined to your existing lines using the Kodiak Union Fitting part # BH-C-3FIF. Please note, you can ruin a brass fitting by tightening it too much. I recommend snugging it up and then making a few more turns until tight. If you have a leak and can always go back and tighten more.
