Replaces the motor for your Kwikee powered RV entry steps. Attaches to the linkage (sold separately) underneath step mounting plate to provide power for extension. Automatic shut-down feature retracts steps if they strike an obstacle.I recieved this after a delay - etrailer refunded the overnight shipping charges; but the motor arrived with the plug connector broken off. The plug connector is a part of the molded case and sticks out away from the case. It looks like the motor was dropped prior to packaging because part of the plug connector was missing from the package. While etrailer was prompt in sending a replacement - sending an obviously broken part caused us massive inconvenience because the steps must be removed from the RV to replace the motor. Because this happened while we are traveling, we have to go without steps for days and replace the steps in freezing weather vs. warm weather where the problem started. etrailer, please train pick and pack to observe what they are putting into the box before they ship it because their inattention has consequences.
I replaced a 10 year old RV step motor on my 45’ Navagator. Installation was easy and Still working great after 1 year and the steps have gone in and out well over 100 times. etrailer your team is Awesome!
This was the right part and the service was awesome.
This motor does not work with a 42 series step. To small and wiring plug in is not compatible with harness on motor home

It would be disappointing to receive this motor and then it does not work for you. Can you tell me how old your steps are? Are they made before 2004? If they are then for the series 42 steps you would need motor part # LC380266 instead. If they are newer than 2004, then can you tell me the exact model number of your step?

Hi Jenny yes our motor home is a 1996 Luxor by Winnebago diesel pusher. The step is a Keizer 42 series two step slide out. Hope that will help

If the step has not been replaced since before 2004, which it sounds like it has not been, then there is a motor upgrade kit available for the series 42 Kwikee step part # LC380266. It would include the motor, linkage, control unit, switch kit, and hardware to install.
Got this step motor for our Country Couch motorhome. Speedy delivery and it was the exact part we needed. Looked exactly like the original. I like that.. etrailer is in my Favorites page.

Its still working like brand new. Got etrailer.com in my Favorites..
Just finished hooking it up. All good! I can’t see a difference in the original 2003 part.

The motor looks like an exact replacement of the original. I have not yet installed it but expect no issues. The one disappointing feature is that it was advertise as made in America which confirmed the sale for me, but upon receiving the motor it is stamped made in China.

It is functioning well. No issues at all.
ETrailer's knowledge and service was spectacular! I thought it would be impossible to find a part for a 25 year old coach. The part arrived in three days. Installation was a bit difficult since the part had been redesigned, which is not ETrailer's fault. The part fit up was perfect. Once installed, the part performed flawlessly.

Replacement motor for older motorhome electric step. Same manufacturer as original motor. Other sites were out of stock. Product was in stock & delivered faster than expected. Fair price, easy installation & works great.
The motor fit perfectly. I used it on a 2006 Beaver patriot thunder front doorstep.
