Today we'll be taking at look at the axle riser kit. This for single diamond torsion axles from Lippert. This is going to give you a three and a half inch lift for those trailers where you want to get a little bit more height off of your trailer. This will be especially important for any kind of small campers or enclosed trailers, anything where you might have some sewer lines or anything that's going to be hanging down below the trailer bed. This helps to extend it up a little bit and give you more clearance, so you don't have to worry about those things coming into contact with anything while you're out on the road.We get our two risers, one for either side, so it's going to work for a single axle. Then we'll get our eight bolts, washers, and locknuts.
These are going to be compatible with side mount or top mount torsion axle mounting brackets. And you want to make sure that your axle are the diamond shape, not the square. That would be turned to the side. So this is going to be for those ones that are kind of turned on their corner. And, again, this is a specific fit for the Lippert axles.
As far as dimensions with these or brackets, each measure about 12 inches long and then three and a half inches wide, three and a half inches tall. And then about two inches wide.The distance for the mounting holes center to center is about nine inches. And that's going to be the same for our other two mounting holes, nine inches apart center to center. Those mounting holes for the ones on the side here are just under three-quarters of an inch wide by an inch and a quarter. And that's going from the end of the oblong hole to the other side.
That's the inside diameter there, about three-quarters of an inch to one and a quarter. And then going in the other direction, it's again going to be about three-quarters or about 11/16ths. And then just about an inch for those smaller holes.We do have a lot of information available here at etrailer.com. Designed for diamond, 3,500-lb axles only.After being brushed off by the OEM, I purchased my axle lift kit from etrailer. There were reviews, and even a video on how to install the brackets, so I felt prepared for when the kit arrived. Although I am located in Ontario Canada, the parts arrived at my door much quicker than I expected. My local garage completed the install in under two hours, so the labour bill was very reasonable. My trailer now rides 3 1/2 inches higher giving me much better ground clearance for the underhung drain pipework.
T J - 03/26/2022Taking the old nuts and bolts out is harder to install the lift kits. But what a difference getting in and out of the driveway. No more getting stuck and breaking the jack.

Gives us peace of mind knowing that we aren't dragging our Rpods backend when going in and out of parkiNg lot dips. We had these installed at the shop and then we added a 2 step into our RV. Everything is great. Love this product
I installed them under a Scamp 16 foot RV so that I could use larger tires. Good solid product and easy to install. I've put on about 4,000 miles so far and all is well.
Ac0gv - 07/28/2021Super Simple installation in 20 minutes with a lift, an impact wrench and torque wrench. Simple to follow directions and torque specs right in the instructions. Genuine Lippert component for our Lippert axle equipped trailer. We no longer worry about dragging the rear stabilizers on driveway entrances that aren't totally flat. Installed on a 2020 R-Pod 178.
Jay - 11/12/2021Completed the install on my own, was pretty straightforward. Exactly what I was looking for, it now gives me extra clearance with my trailer exiting my driveway or pulling through any dips as the stabilizers no longer scrape the ground.
These are the correct part for the 3500lb Lippert diamond torsion axle under our 2016 R-Pod. It too me about an hour and a half to install them. Raise the camper, support the frame in front and rear of axle, with jack under axle bracket remove the two factory bolts, lower axle, place riser in, raise axle up, then install the 4 bolts/nuts. Don't forget to cut the zip tie to give the brake wiring harness some slack. In one photo the axle is down, the other is the riser in place and bolts being added.
Awesome fit. Perfect alignment on holes. Couple jack stands and a few hours easy install.
Wasn't that hard to install with a floor jack. Lifted my Micro Mini up where I didn't have to pray at every slight incline! Well worth the time and money.
Finally had the kits (2) installed. Trailer looks great, upgrading 2016 Micro Minnie to off-road version. This helps get the gray/black lines higher off the ground. 15" wheels and 235/75/15 to be installed later this week. I did add a few more coats of paint to the kit.
My brother was able to install this kit in about an hour (he's a heavy duty mechanic) on our Winnebago 1700BH. We backed it into this driveway as a true test. Our rear jacks and sway bars scraped badly before the kit and didn't even graze it after the kit.
I love this lift kit! My R-pod trailer's ride height is where it should be all along. No more worries about dragging the fresh water tank. My local trailer place installed it for $xxx.

We have an 2019.5 R Pod 190 which sat very close to the ground. We wanted to take it off paved roads in the mountains of West Texas. The riser kit was a must. I would say that I am very happy with Etrailer and this kit. It does the job! I did pay someone to install it because of time limitations. So far so good. I did order the wrong kit at first. My Pod has a LCI (Lippert) Diamond axle. Etrailer made the refund and repurchase very easy! Thanks
Missing a washer, requested to be sent new washer and have not received. Most likely will return.

Works awesome for Winnie drops. See before and after. Easy to install, if you can change a tire you can do this. Hardest part was jacking up the trailer.
Fast delivery to Canada (about 5 business days). Product appears to be well made. Its a simple design and could easily be fabricated by a local welder but my preference was to have it shipped to my door with all the required bolts as well.
Very happy with the product and hardware it fit perfectly no issues installing on my Rpod 2022.
Was wanting to get more space between tires and fender. In addition, was using a 9” drop shank. (Truck has 6” lift) With this 3.5” lift, was able to use my 6” drop shank and have plenty of clearance between tire and fender. This was a a great addition to our pod.
I'm really happy with the result. I underestimated the effort needed to install them, definitely would have called around to get a quote for someone else to do it. It's probably much easier with the right power tools. Not complicated to install, but difficult with manual tools.
Great product; quality materials and fit. The customer service experience has been AMAZING. The original package was damaged in shipment and one component had been lost.
