I was stranded at the campground with 1 slide out extended and 1 retracted so that I couldn’t leave or get to my inside refrigerator. I did not find it easy to program to my 2011 Cougar. It works but the pre-sets are not the same as what actually happens. I.E. the awning is actually the front leg control, and the rear stabilizers are the main slide out.

What is the Range of the New-Style Linc Analog Remote # LC292614
I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he said that they don't have a specific range for the New-Style Linc Analog Remote # LC292614 but that he has heard of people being able to use it up to 40 ' - 50' away. It all depends on the surroundings (walls and such) but he did say that it should work just fine in the general area of the campsite.

I spoke with Lippert and they said because remote # LC292614 is analog you would first need the original Linc remote in order to program the fuses on the board. But assuming they are already programmed you could use remote # LC292614. Since you just lost your remote that likely means your board is already programmed.

The two halves of the replacement remote # LC292614 fit together snugly so after removing the 2 screws from the back you may need to use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry the two halves apart. Once you get it started you will be able to separate the two halves with your hands.

What light function is controlled depends on how the multi-function board is wired. Some customers have that board wired to control the awning lights or other lights on their unit but it is essentially like having a single light switch.

I checked with LCI about the issue you described with the Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote # LC292614 and they said that some of the remotes are shipping with the switching wired backwards. One solution is to swap the wiring in the receiver board to compensate for this or you can send the remote back to have a new one sent out but there's a chance it might also be backwards.

I spoke to my contact at Lippert and they informed me that if the Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote part # LC292614 drains the 2 AAA batteries in only a few days then there is an internal short and it will need to be replaced. This remote only transmits a signal, it does not receive one therefore there really couldn't be anything else that would cause this issue. Please note there is a power button atop the remote that should be used each time you are finished using it.

To replace the batteries on the Lippert Linc Analog Remote # LC292614 you do need to first remove the two screws on the back of the unit. Once they are removed the two halves of the remote will likely still be pretty tight against each other so you will want to use something like a flathead screwdriver to gently pry them apart so that you can access the batteries.

The three bottom LEDs blinking means that the remove # LC292614 is waiting to be programmed. When it's in this state you will use the "IN" and "OUT" buttons to cycle through the LED descriptions until you get to FUNCTION 1. You have a wiring issue for the Lippert kit you have. Somehow the circuit that activates your outside flood light is also the activation for the lights that the Lippert light circuit is controlling inside as well. That said, Lippert control components like your Linc system are known to get buggy after a while and unplugging them and allowing them reset typically takes care of quirky issues like this so that's what I would try.
