Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today, we're gonna take a real quick look at this replacement lift-assist strut for your Lippert SolidStep RV steps. This is going to replace the lift-assist strut for your SolidStep 3-step RV steps. And on your screen, for your reference, I am including the model number of those steps that this is going to fit. And this 800 Newton strut is designed for wide step applications, from 29-inch to 36-inch-wide doorframes. Let me go ahead and retrieve my tape measure here and go over some measurements with you so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So, measuring center of socket to center of socket, as you can see, we're sitting right at about 27 inches long.

And then, the length of just the rod itself, as you can see, we're sitting right at 11 and 13/16 inches long and the ball diameter is 10 millimeters. Now, this is the direct replacement from Lippert, so what that means for you is you can confidently assume that this is going to work for you. You're not gonna have to worry about fitment issues, compatibility issues, or anything like that.
